ST. ROBERT, Mo. -- Law enforcement officers chased Cody Willcoxson from Fort Leonard Wood to Rolla after Willcoxson attempted to enter the post with an assault rifle. This video of the chase was recorded by a camera mounted on the dashboard of St. Robert police officer Trenton Herr. At 2:45, Willcoxson begins firing at the officer while being pursued on Interstate 44. At 14:25, Willcoxson exits off I-44 into the city of Rolla. At 18:47, Willcoxson arrives on the Missouri University of Science and Technology campus, exits the car and enters McNutt Hall. He was captured later that afternoon south of Rolla.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Two suspects who thought officers were chasing them caused a 4-car pileup near downtown Wednesday, police said. Darrius Lowe, 21, and David Williams, 20, were wanted in connection to a home invasion earlier that day, according to WFTV. Aerial footage shows their vehicle move haphazardly through traffic near downtown before the crash. Police — who had a description of the vehicle from a teenager who was inside the home — saw the car but had not yet pursued it, deputies said, and they belive the suspects thought the news helicopter belonged to law enforcement. "They fled of their own volition, at high rates of speed. Our feeling is that what they thought was a law enforcement aircraft," Jeff Williamson of the Orange County Sheriff's Office said. Three other drivers were injured and two were treated at the hospital, according to My Fox Orlando. Two dogs that jumped from one of the cars were later found safe. According to reports, Lowe and Williams were treated at the hospital, to be jailed upon release. A firearm and marijuana were found in their Toyota.

After a pursuit through Denton County, Corinth Police arrested a suspect that resembles a bank robbery suspect. In searching the suspect's vehicle however, they found multiple credit cards that were not in the man's name. The chase started shortly after 4 pm on Friday October 21, 2011. The suspect led police through busy streets and neighborhoods, sometimes even hopping the curb to escape. approximately 9:30pm on May 10th 2012 I was ridding on the freeway when I spotted a CHP unit merge into traffic with its lights and sirens going. staying within the speed limit i followed the CHP to the end result of a major chase,PIT and after guns drawn, arrest. an unnamed officer stated that it was originally a pursuit involving a "gang CRASH" unit. there were 4 female and 1 male in the vehicle. drugs were recovered from the seen. from what I could see there was 15 or more police units from CHP, to concord,pleasant hill and walnut creek PD. the chase was headed south bound on the 680 freeway with the pursuit ending in-between monument blvd. and treat blvd. in close proximity to the CHP freeway stations. this marks an increase of violence and crime in the pleasant hill, concord and walnut creek areas. giving testament to the difficult economic time we are living. thank you, Joshua John - independent videographer www.ironjohndm.com

Jeep crashes through gate and speeds onto Philadelphia International Airport runway. 6abc: Kenneth Mazik faces DUI and related charges after police say he drove through a gate at Philadelphia International Airport. Police say at just after 10:00 am a Jeep Cherokee rammed through Gate 25 near Hog Island Road at the west end of the airport. Witnesses say Mazik was parked outside the gate apparently waiting for one of the planes to come in for a landing. As an incoming plane approached he then allegedly accelerated - blasting through the gate and onto airport property. Those who saw the incident unfold say it appears as though Mazik attempted to time it so that the Jeep would meet the plane as it landed. Police say the vehicle never made it to the runway as officers were able to stop Mazik. One plane just about to land had to be diverted as air traffic controllers struggled to get a handle on the situation.

Dallas,Texas-A police chase that started in Seagoville, weaved into downtown Dallas, then Mesquite, and back into downtown Dallas has ended. Around Noon Dallas police began pursuing a burgundy colored Ford Expedition SUV. The case is believed to be a kidnapping involving a woman and a man — who is the father of her child. The man was believed to have a gun. Sources told CBS 11 News the driver has a pending arrest warrant for aggravated assault, apparently after last week shooting at the female that was inside the vehicle with him during the chase. CBS 11 News reporter JD Miles learned the driver/suspect had a cell phone and was in contact with Mesquite police while driving. The man reportedly told officers that he wanted to pull over but was afraid to stop. At about 1:00 pm the driver pulled over near the intersection of Griffin Street and Pacific Avenue. The driver/suspect got out of the SUV, with his hands up, and laid down on the ground. Officers immediately took him into custody and converged on the vehicle, removing a female from the passenger side.

Apparently the woman felt the need to get into her friends car while he was being pursued by the police after robbing a near by credit union.
