Covered with faux fur and meticulously detailed with claws and whiskers, it features internal air bellows in the chest that simulate breathing when plugged in. Made especially for the Enterpriseepisode, "A Night in Sickbay", when Porthos contracts a potentially deadly alien virus and Archer is so worried he spends the night in Sick Bay looking after his ailing companion. Measures 25 ½ in. long and housed in a custom-made "quarantine tank" Plexiglas case with medical label stating episode #, air date, episode title and note, "Protect from cryogenic temperatures and ionizing radiation". The Plexi case measures 12 ½ in. x 30 in. x 14 ¼ in. The craftsmanship of this prop is remarkable.

this is or rather ones was a school project back in 1997 for me. the idea behind it was to take 2 movies (in my case bits of 4 movies) hack and slash them into pieces a sort of lego peices so to speak and them mix and mash them back together into a theme on some sort. not for a long while I had not a clue how to do that. but while a buddy of mine way working a 3-D model porject of his own saw that I was toying with the rancor scene from star wars episode 6 the return of the jedi. I was taking luke skywalkers part out and working on the disney's threemusketeers movies and seeing if someone form there would work my buddy sugested I take porthos from that movies and splic him in to make it look like he was fighting the rancor and low and behold it worked I got an A+ for the assignment. this is the result of that. only years later after a goof on my part when I dumped the computer file onto a old video where a video and audio fallout was. (oops) since then I've been working on getitng my dvd's digitized to where I could recreate that project and this is it! so have fun watching porthos the pirate vs the rancor with a dash of apollo 13 and firebirds threw in for flair.

A tribute to one of my favourite horses in the whole world, Porthos! Porthos is a bay draft gelding and he lives at RDA Viewbank. I don't own him, but I love him sooo much. He has such an incredible personality. I don't get to ride him just be around him and I'm happy with that. Porthos came from a research lab where he and other drafts were used for snake venom testing. Because of this Porthos can be very spooky, but it doesn't bother me. I love him too much!! We sent Porthos up in memory of Erik Gates at LDRS 29 in Lucerne Valley, CA on June 13th, 2010. This is the on board video from the flight... Porthos is 12" in diameter, stands 16 ft tall, and weighed 220lbs at lift off. She reached an altitude of 6300 ft. flying on a central Aerotech N3300R motor with 6 outboard Aerotech K1275R motors generating a combined thrust of 2200lbs. The flight was 100% successful, although she did get dragged a bit after landing due moderate surface winds.

Athos and Porthos are light and darkness elemental, so stay away from using light and darkness monsters. You want to have at least one of your monsters know First Aid from Undine's Whisper. One of your monsters should be healing while the other two monsters keep Athos and Porthos busy to prevent them from casting spells. (This can be quite difficult because you can't select their targets.) I had my Polwigle use Prayer, which adds two water elements to the Elemental Grid. I changed the grid's main element so that Hawk, being wind elemental, would not recover HP, and Polwigle recovers HP due to the main element being water. If Athos or Porthos manages to cast a spell, switch your monsters' strategy to Hold Position so that they guard against it.

The only monster that has the Block Magic strategy is the Imp. It is weak to light so equip it with Weak Charms. You should also use monsters with high P. Def and A. Def so your monsters can survive the spells Alice, Athos, and Porthos use. Starting the battle off, your monsters will either go after Athos and Porthos, or Alice. You must stop Alice from casting whenever you can because if she casts Heal or First Aid, she can fully recover HP. She also casts a variety of spells such as Aqua Edge, Icicle Rain, Splash, and Stalagmite. Alice's physical attacks are also strong so you will need to heal constantly. Your monsters won't be able to guard against Alice's War and Peace arte and it is Alice's strongest strike arte. Athos can autocast Shadow Shot, which does the same as Negative Gate. It is darkness elemental so it won't do much damage against the Imp. Athos also uses Dream of Sleep, which can put your monsters to sleep. Porthos can autocast Booby Trap, which does the same as Photon. The battle becomes easier as you take them down one by one, but until then you will have to keep Alice from casting.

**SPOILERS!! WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!** Yay another boss!! Did some Guild Quest before continuing through the story. You get some really nice prizes for completing them too. It's another easy fight, Hawk, Athos and Porthos are barely a threat and can be taken out easily. I guess the only thing that can be annoying about this battle is when the three of them are all together in the same area, kinda hard to fight when all of them are ganged up together. But that shouldn't be a problem since one or two of them are always stalking Emil. xD

When I first started on Youtube in late 2007, two of my first subscribers were Jim (941jes) and Dallas (dholm13). We quickly formed a strong friendship and one of us decided we were 'The Three Musketeers' and would be friends for life and we wrote and chatted on a daily basis and stopped using our real names- Jim became Porthos, Dallas became Athos and I am Aramis!! Sadly, Athos (Dallas) passed away in March 2010 and Porthos (Jim) had a major health scare in 2009 from which,thankfully he recovered although no longer spends as long on line.
