This is from the Chicago Renegade Craft Fair, September 15, 2007. One of the most original and fun booths at the event, The Postcard Machine was a psuedo-automated postcard vending mechanism that oftentimes talked back to the crowd. Stephen Duffy's brilliant song, The Postcard (later covered by Robbie Williams) with images of Rachel Whitear, a prominent victim of heroin, which seemed to fit the story to the lyrics. Possibly my favourite old bit of Stewart Lee stand-up, taken from the Fist Of Fun live video. The whole show can be seen online for free on Stew's website (or Google video), I just especially liked this bit and hadn't seen anyone put it on YouTube yet. Enjoy. NOTE: The sound gets a little out of sync as the video goes on. I've resynced it a little but basically they're just at different speeds so there's only so much I can do. ALSO NOTE: There's a bit just over half way through with Rich sticking Peter's head down a toilet which seems completely random and out of context but is continuing on an earlier section of the show.
