A year went by
A year went by... I still remember the day we found out, we truly lost it. We lost the ability to talk, or walk, think straight, explain, or even pray. I know, because we tried all of those and couldn't do any of them. The only thing we were able to do was cry, so we cried. The thing is this, God always get you off-guard, He will give you what you don't expect, when you don't expect it. Science couldn't explain why we couldn't have children, so we've given up on the idea. But God is more powerful than science. Fourteen years of marriage should be enough to stop trying, but God is larger than time. All the lab results were telling us there was no logic behind this pregnancy, but God digs deeper than logic. People say God can't be explained, meaning you can't believe on something you can't explain. But you need to keep in mind that our life is limited by our own science, time and logical thinking, and God is larger than all of them combined together. A year went by, and I don't want to forget how precious of a gift our baby is. I want to appreciate every moment of her, without forgetting how she got here. Her name means "rejoice of my father" and that truly fits the occasion.
