Marlin XT-22 & 925: "American .22 Precision" by Nutnfancy
It's one of the best rimfire bolt guns on the planet. Good luck trying to equal the impressive performance of the Marlin 925 and XT-22 series of rifles for their reasonable cost. Accuracy is amazing. Easily capable of one hole groups at 50 yds, maybe longer with very careful shooting and ammo selection, the Marlin 925/XT-22s impressed me with their capabilities after THREE YEARS of shooting them for this review. CCI Mini Mags performed with excellence and even Federal Bulk ammo produces acceptable groups. In informal paper punching competitions, like my "Circles of Death" drill and in shooting steel targets, these .22s bring high enjoyment levels. Recreational rifle is its first POU, followed by marksmanship trainer, introductory gun (check out those youth models!), critter getter, and as a replacement trainer for that uber-expensive-to-shoot centerfire bolt gun you have. As with other quality bolt gun designs, reliability is superb. Just make sure you don't short stroke that bolt like some rookie! Replacing the .22 925, the XT-22 brings a wider array of barrels/calibers/stocks/finishes and adds such improvements as a Pro-Fire® trigger, palm swells (yawn), less bolt resistance (love it), and a new design sythetic stock. Both the 925 and XT-22 are highly recommended and I find difffculty preferring one over the other. Some will prefer the now-special North Haven, CT 925s and I don't blame them. 2007 Tour of SME (with Brian Laker, Sales and Service Manager) British precision audio manufacturer of turntables and arms plus aerospace and defense parts. Home of "The best pick-up arm in the world." SME was founded in 1946 by the late Managing Director Mr. Alastair Robertson-Aikman in Steyning, Sussex. Working from a shed at the bottom of his parents` garden he started to make accurate Scale Model Equipment from where the orginal name came. Products then included exhibition scale models and detail parts for the model engineering trade. Engineering sub-contract work followed in the 1950`s for many major high profile companies including Rolls Royce, Hawkers, the MOD etc., also experimental work for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and the atomic submarine industry with MOD and AID approval being held. BONUS Artillery Launched Precision Guided Munitions
Bonus artillery launched, fire-and-forget artillery shell targets and destroys armored vehicles (stationary or mobile) by top attack submunitions. Each BONUS shell carries two BONUS Submunitions, and is provided with base bleed system to reach ranges of 35km. Two Submunitions are carried in each shell, covering an area of 200 m' in radius. The BONUS submunition deploys two "wings" which stabilize its rapid descent path and fast spin required for target scanning. BONUS acquires a target by multi-spectral infrared signature. BONUS II, which will enter production in 2005 will also add a laser radar (LADAR) for improved aiming into a target shape generated by a laser radar (LADAR) sensor. The fusion of spectral and target profile enables BONUS to separate between combat-worthy targets, damaged or burning targets as well as decoys. Each submunition is equipped with explosive formed penetrator (EFP) striking the target by top attack. BONUS II is equipped with improved IR sensors capable of engaging targets with reduced IR signatures and countermeasures. BONUS is in production since 2003. Over 1000 BONUS shells have already been delivered to the French and Swedish armies, and current production programs are scheduled to last til 2007

Learn GarageBand in 30 Days! mhlo.co The Precision Inline Editor is a new feature in Final Cut Pro X that allows you to make the transitions or graphics as close as possible to exactly what you want regarding where they are on the Timeline. This applies to working with both clips and graphics as well. A good example of this feature can be applied to a transition that you may have placed on a clip. To make changes, right-click on the transition in the Timeline and choose Show Precision Editor from the options menu that appears. A new "track" will appear in the Timeline below the original clips. On this "track" you can choose to expand or contract the transition, move it around or get rid of it. The Magnetic Timeline featured in Final Cut Pro X improves on traditional ways of trimming, including ripple, roll, slip and slide edits. If you need more control or want to make additional changes, double-click on an edit to open the Precision Editor and make trims directly in the timeline. You can also expand your view of the edit point so you can see both used and unused portions of your clips. Then, skim entire clips and adjust edit points with a single click. Making edits to a clip right in the timeline, viewing the entire source clip and making quick changes without having to leave what you're currently doing is all possible with this editor.
