We were allowed to have a sheet of paper with up to 500 words of dot-points and notes, and visual aids such as the PowerPoint presentation in the video. Since I couldn't think of anything besides trying to analyse the deep metaphors and themes of Scott Pilgrim, which isn't a thing I really like to do, I decided to swallow my pride and do mine on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. But instead of talking about my favourite pony for 10 minutes like the earlier presentations, I tried to explain why all these grown adults were watching the show, and why it was so appealing. Unfortunately, I'm a lazy bastard, and as such procrastinated until about two days 'til it was due.
