Couple things to note: There isn't perfect macro in this video. At one point you will have a lot of gas, that is usually when I add 2 Sentries to my army. AT ONE POINT I SAY 'Make your third pylon before CYBERNETICS CORE' I meant to say 'ROBOTICS FACILITY'. Basic build (number represents current supply): 9 Pylon 10 Queue up 3 Probes and Chrono Boost their production twice in a row. 13 Gateway 14 1st Vespine Gas 16 Pylon 18 Cybernetics Core 18 2nd Vespine Gas 19 Zealot (GET ZEALOT BEFORE CYBERNETICS CORE IF YOUR OPPONENT MIGHT BE AGGRESSIVE) 23 Research Warp Gates 23 Zealot 23ish Pylon 26ish Robotics Facility 27ish Sentry 27ish Chrono Boost Warp Gate research 30 Observer (Chrono Boost ASAP) 31 Gateway NOTE: Depending on what you want, either get Immortal ASAP or work towards Colossus tech 31ish Immortal right after Observer 36 Make Gateways into Warpgates 36 Immortal 40 Stalker 42 2x Zealot 42 PUSH OPPONENTS BASE Note: Make 2 more gateways as you push or use your army to secure your natural. Keep your Observer active to spot for burrowed roaches. DO NOT GET SUPPLY BLOCKED. Your push will be slightly stronger and much faster if you don't get supply blocked.

The Trusty 4 Gate - Protoss StarCraft 2 Tutorial
This is a build you NEED to know if you play Protoss. It is basically Protoss 101. Basic build that I use (number represents what your supply is at when you build it): 9 Pylon 10 Chrono boost 2 workers 12 Gateway 12 Chrono boost 2 workers 13/14 Assimilator 16 Pylon 18 Cybernetics Core 18ish Assimilator (asap) Put 3 probes on gas ASAP. You should have 100 gas for Warpgate/Stalker as soon as the cybernetics core finishes. You should push out after your first wave of units spawns from your warpgates. Continue pressure for 2-3 waves of units. If you cant end the game then, back up and start to macro up! Remember, you are not behind if you do this build correctly as long as you save some units from your original attack.

Hey guys, just wanted to make a YouTube series in which I talk about each match up for beginners. I know a lot of people are confused as to what to build, when to expand, etc in against each race. I will try my best to make informative videos. Trust me, starcraft 2 is much more enjoyable when you play standard macro games instead of rushing all the time. Hope you enjoy! Blizzard SC2 units link us.battle.net Build order : 9 pylon (Scout, make another probe and then chrono your 11th and 12th probes) 12 gateway 13 assimilator 15 pylon 17 cybernetics 24 gateway 24 assimilator 26-28 robotics facility (immortal then observer) Points and Tips: - this build is catered toward lower level players who want to play a safe macro game. - first units should be zealot, stalker, sentry - do not make more than 5 sentries, they are support units - zealot stalker is not a good unit composition against terran infantry with medivacs. - you should add immortals, sentries, and eventually colossus. - high templars and archons are also a strong addition - 3 gateways per base - counter your opponents units when you scout them with a probe or observer - fight for the watchtowers and constantly look at your mini-map - constantly build probes (20 at each mineral line is a good number, 3 for gas) - a good time to expand is when you fend off an attack or see your opponent expanding - use sentries to block off your ramps in times of danger - upgrade constantly - make pylons near your army so you can <b>...</b>

When you are maximum supply/population cap you need to start saving up your money and be on at least 4 bases. Focus on grabbing as much vespene gas as possible. At this point you will engage the Protoss Army on your terms and across the map. Then you want to use one of two transitions to a different strategy. These transitions you will have prepared ahead of time by building a Spire and a Ultralisk Cavern. Zerg vs Protoss Throw Away Strategy: Use your army to inflict maximum damage to the Protoss army, knocking out key units like the Colossus and Void Ray if possible. Then as your units die, you will gauge the situation, determining the perfect balance of Ultralisks and Corruptors. To do this, you will need to see how many Colossus and Void Rays he has in real time as your army dies. If he has no Colossus or Void Rays then you will make no Corruptors. IMPORTANT: Make sure to spawn units as your army dies <b>...</b>

Alright guys, this is my first tutorial ever so its going to be abit shady in some parts. As for the tutorial itself. I grabbed 8 of my own replays of the 2gate FE PvT and go over them in chronological order to best demonstrate progression of the build. First I start off with how you can quickly win to a nice macro game and other transitions available.
