Smashcraft -- Public Beta Phase 1 Footage
My latest starcraft 2 custom map, Smashcraft, combines the fast paced action of the MOBA genre (games such as DotA), with elements from fighters and hero arenas. Based loosely on World of Warcraft's 3v3 arena, command one of eight heroes (more to come soon!) in a team deathmatch fight to the finish. No farming, no memorizing 1000 item combinations, no horribly imbalanced and complicated gameplay. In Smashcraft, you pick a character that suits your playstyle and jump right into the fray. Smashcraft features four disciplines to whet any player's appetite, from the casual player to the most hardcore competitive players of all skill will appreciate what this map has to offer. Guardians: The meaty damage shields, specializing in group supporting abilities, control, CC, and moderate damage capability. Guardians are the meat shields of your composition. Assaults: While not nearly as durable as their counterparts, the guardians, assault characters specialize in dealing fast, hard damage that puts heavy pressure on the other team. If left unchecked, an Assault character can quickly dispose of your team's squishier components. Psions: The mack trucks of DPS, such huge power comes at the cost of slight fragility and long casting times, but the payload is worth it. A psion will die very quickly if not protected, but left to cast freely, they can quickly wipe out your entire team. Supports: The essential archetypes to have in your composition. Supports lack dearly in the damage <b>...</b>

Here are a few clips from some multiplayer DCS Black Shark and DCS A-10C sessions, testing the Tactical Aviation Radio System (TARS). Footage includes internal alpha testing and also a few tests of the current public beta. We were running Black Shark 1.02 and DCS: A-10 Beta 4. Highlights include: - Banshee's gun run of epicness. - TARS radio communications on the guard channel after ejection (Sunset Sierra mission). - Headspace meets back up with his own mk82 in midair. - Hojo tries to land with no gear. Now this is something you don't see everyday. Creator Wyndwarrior over at ModMyi forums has posted a public beta for his new theme. It is called OS7 and the theme is distributed in a pretty cool way. You have to have the app "BackBoard", free from Cydia, ADD A DEFAULT THEME TO GO BACK TO FIRST, then add the following URL to it, MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THE SPACES/NO SPACES: backboard:// wyndrepo. googlecode.com /OS7Beta.zip Then go ahead and click, install the theme through BackBoard and respring. Afterward, you should have a Windows Phone 7 looking iDevice. You are now free to pin/unpin app to your new homescreen. Windows Phone 7 OS has two apps in each row, same with this theme, you can tap and arrow to see and open your other apps that aren't "pinned" to your homescreen. Feel free to pin some. Unfortunately, as mentioned before, this is the Public Beta. So every time you open an app it will prompt you to donate or dismiss. Donating won't do anything but help the Author(feel free) and dismiss will close the message. Not too bad, but can get annoying. We can look forward to the final theme with more icons and live icons.
