Video Graduation QACI Queensland Academy Inspirational Students Highschool Funny
A group of NERDS from QACI and QASMT joined together on a 1 month long expediition to malaysia. Migrating from the depths of their classrooms, nestled into the laptops, to the wilderness of the Taman Negara jungle, surrounded by the blood sucking leeches and 'spikey trees', these students put their fears aside to in order to survive. Drinking the water from the dirty streams that they bathed in, eating the food that shared a kitchen with rats, and hiking through a jungle at 40C with leeches hanging off their body made these IB students transform into challengers. These are their stories. dun dun.
An experimental, German Expressionist-inspired film, written by Claire Sauvage (Director and cinematographer), Razina Ibrahim (Editor), Carey Simpson (Make up and Production) and Diveakssh Schae (Sound design), for our Grade 11 assignment for the Queensland Academy for Creative Industries (QACI) All though we each had specific production roles, they overlapped in the production of this 5 minute film. A trailer for our up-coming expedition in November this year with World Challenge. A group of 16 students from the Queensland Academies (Australia) accompanied by 3 adults will set off into the jungles of Malaysia fending for themselves for a total of 28 days.
