Slap me some skin! *high 5* The weather is getting warmer and warmer by the day and it's just too hot to wear the hair down now (No thanks to humid frizzy hair getting stuck on our backs please). In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to create 6 on-the-go hairstyles that will literally take you about a minute or two. They are not only quick & easy but also very comfortable for the sizzling weather. These hairstyles are very basic to do so they would be great for school/work. If you're not gonna dance much, you can do those fancy updos, but if you're like me and know you'll move around a lot, a hairstyle like this would be more suitable. This video shows 2 quick styles that were requested by viewers. I am not good at talking and styling so I tried doing a voice over this time. Styles 1- 2 front twists w/back loose. This style is very quick and easy. I have worn it out on the weekends, to work, and to formal events just by varying the accessories and "neatness of it". It typically will only last a day. I usually do it on hair that I have already done a braid out on, the braid out is the most time consuming part but does not have to be re-done daily. I have to touch up the front part each day. I do not show the braid out because there are more than enough tutorials on braid outs and twist outs IMO. Style 2- Flat twist w/side pony This style is also very quick but it lasts longer. I have worn this style from 3 days to a full week by retouching it in the morning. This style can be modified to be a protective style or the ends of the hair can be worn loose. Smoothing the hair- for the sake of time I did not add in my hair smoothing regimen. I typically use grease, a small amt of gel and a scarf to smooth frizzies in the morning. I may do a short quick tip vid on this in the future.
