My first time doing single two strand twist in my hair. I usually do the cornrow version (see my other vid) because it takes half the time. I was lazy and did not wash the other products out of my hair before twisting but I liked the results anyhow. Next time I will start with a fresh product free head! Let me know what you think! This is my first flexi-rod set. :) I added the rollers to dry/dampened hair and used Shea yogurt moisturizer for sheen, moisture and hold. To dampen my hair I used a spray bottle filled with water, a tsp of honey, tsp of olive oil and a tsp of grapeseed oil. The results were really cute. I was only able to take pics after I got home around 10 pm (was running late in the morning) so the style is a bit frizzy from the days humidity. Hey Guys, Here is a great protective style for the fall and winter months. This is called "Yarn braids/Genie Locs" This style was done with Red Heart Yarn from Walmart color Black. I cut each piece between 40-50 inches in length to achieve this look. I will keep this style in for about 2 months. I will moisture my hair twice a day with water, evoo, aloe vera juice and a leave in conditioner. I will use some shea butter as well, but not too much since it does cause build up.
