
The sirens were deafening, but I forced my hands to stay on the wheel, whitening my knuckles. Everything was too loud, too bright, and some primal instinct urged me to ditch the car and RUN. "Well done, Harley," he murmured; his voice had a calming affect and the sound of my nickname on his lips awakened a shiver. I breathed deep and pressed harder on the gas petal, speeding away from Arkham and everything I knew. It took a few moments before I realized I was laughing. -------------------------- Harlequinade- (n.) a show or performance in which the harlequin is the main attraction. ------------------ Editor's Note: I realize I used a few clips more than once, but, in this case, it was all on purpose. This video took forever to finish, what with general lack of inspiration and not having my laptop for weeks at a time. It was torture for me both as an editor and a writer. I got my laptop back today and, in a burst of inspiration, finished the video. I WAS going to end it with Harleen at the end . . . but then I saw that PICTURE and fell in love with it. I'm pretty sure that'll be my wallpaper. Dr. Quinzel and Joker- wow! As a wannabe psychologist, it goes against everything I've been taught . . . and yet I just adore it! :D I'll always stand by the fact that Harley Quinn and Harleen are two different people, in an abstract way.
