Maria Bethânia is amongst my favorites, hands down. Her shows are beautifully simple, she is usually barefoot and there is always poetry between the songs. This one in particularly, the "Android Belly Dancer", by Fausto Fawacet, is quite disturbing and (why not?) beautiful. The song is incredible. Hope y'all like it! :-)

4 Minutes to Save Romania
Clips and pictures from when I visited wonderful Romania and met INCREDIBLE people. I did use some stock footage, as it turns out, I didn't really have a lot of time to goof around with the camera. As it is obvious, not only did I go to Madonna's concert in Bucharest, but I have also used her song as background motivation for the video. If it's not clear (youtube people who censored me), the song in the background is Madonna's 4 Minutes to Save the World, featuring Justin Timberlake.

Marisa Monte - Gentileza (English Subtitles)
A week before the Christmas of 1961, a fire destroyed the circus "Gran Circus Norte-Americano", in Niterói, state of Rio de Janeiro. Over 500 people were killed, most of them were children. José Dantrino, 44, woke up one morning, six days after the fire, claiming he had heard "astral voices", urging him to abandom the material world and dedicate to the spiritual. He drove to the fire site, planted a garden on top of the ashes and built a shack nearby, where he lived for 4 years. He consolled the vicitms' families, with his words and preached kindness amongst people. From then on, he was known as "Profeta Gentileza" (Profet Kindess). He left the fire site, which had become known as "Kindness Paradise" and started walking thorugh the city. He was seen on the streets and squares, the ferries between Rio and Niterói (separated by a bay), in trains and buses, preaching love. To those who called him crazy, he'd respond: "I'm crazy enough to love you and insane enough to save you" After 1980, he chose 56 pillars that stretched over a mile underneath a highway above a busy street and filled them with green and yellow inscriptions (colors of the Brazilian flag) with very peculiar caligraphy. In them he criticized the world and its unkind civilization, urging people to be kind and spread love. The inscriptions could be seen by anyone who passed by and due to their distance from the ground, even those riding the buses were able to read them. He died in 1996 at the age of 77, leaving <b>...</b>

My master piece (if I can say that, LOL) Pieces of three different performances of the song by Edith Piaf, random images of her and, of course, pieces of Marion Cotillard SUPERB interpretation of the Diva in the movie "La Vie en Rose". On top of it all, of course, a remastered studio and orchestra version of the song. Turned out pretty okay, didnt it? PS:............... WATCH THE MOVIE!!!! It's absolutely amazing!

Beautiful song, from one of my favorite singers ever! With English subtitles, as usual... The original audio was pretty bad so i replaced it with the studio version of the song, which has an orchestra and everything. I have also added a few random images of Edith in the beginning (the audio time did not match the video time, so I had to improvise). Turned out pretty okay, didnt it?
