One of my favorite parts of Half-Life 2, I decided to make a tribute to it's awesomeness. Good job in making an epic game Valve. The music is what mainly inspired it though, I looked through my music folders just listening to stuff and stumbled upon it and immediately wanted to make something. The music is by nerocrack and the title is STALKER(Clear Sky) [Creative name huh?] It can be found here: www.stalker-game.com --------------------------- For the most part I was going to continue with the flow that was going on with the beginning, but many complications arose and I went with doing gameplay shots. I really want to do what I set out to do with the tribute and I think I will when I have the free time I did when making it.

Forever At Ravenholm
"Forever At Ravenholm" focuses on the depressing, lonely atmosphere of Half-Life 2's Ravenholm. For some story background, Ravenholm was a small mining town that had City 17 settlers... until the Combine soon found out about it and bombed it with pods of headcrabs. This is a remake of the first video I have ever made back in May 2006, with a much better concept. It's a project I've been looking forward to doing since during the production of UnKnown Moments 4. Now that I am finished after two days of work, it looks damn beautiful. This video is probably one of the best Machinimas of mine to date. Tools I used for this were strictly Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Fraps, and Garry's Mod. The reason I used Garry's Mod instead of Half-Life 2 itself was because Gmod uses the latest source engine, ability to use cameras, and the bloom feature, which I used to my advantage to give Ravenholm more of an atmosphere. Hellraiser Ravenholm
by Ray Koefoed This is a machinima inspired by the Hellraiser movies (based on the book the Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker). I used sound samples from both Hellbound and Hellseeker. I did the best I could to edit the models look like the the movies by just editing the skins, since I haven't learned to edit the base models yet. I used Doctor Breen as Pinhead incase it isn't obvious, and the bottom half of a milk carton for the Lament Configuration. I did all of the capturing, custom textures, sound and video editing myself in about 2 weeks time. I used Half-Life 2, faceposer, garry's mod 10, Photoshop 6, Premier 6, and Cool Edit Pro. I hope you enjoy it.

Doom: Hell in Ravenholm
This was a video I created for my friend, Ghor, in honor of his recent release of his upgraded Doom weapon/pickup pack for Garry's Mod. There's a few items I left out, like other ammo pickups, explosive barrels, and some items. This was just to get a glimpse of some of the weapons and power ups in action. Note that the game lags when the Light Amplification Goggles and Invulnerability start to wear off, but don't be alarmed, since I recorded this from a demo, and some of the features (like the weapon and character bobbing) aren't shown, and it's just the demo playback being stupid. Normal gameplay is just fine! Also using the original Doom level was done before, so let's go to Ravenholm instead. Okay this mod wasn't scary, and for some reason the textures weren't loading right for me, thats why there are checkered windows and shit like that. But I do have to say that the voice acting is VERY well done and the level design is impeccable. 7.5/10 :)

It's been a while, eh? Map: - d1_town_01 - d1_town_02 - d1_town_03 This time, i'm showing Ravenholm (Also known as Quarrytown) in Half-Life 2 Beta. First off, there was an actual G-Man sighting in the first Ravenholm Map. But, i can see why they took that off because it was silly how G-Man ran like that when Gordon saw him *Shivers*. In the second Ravenholm map, there was a weird grey machine that is actually 'drive-able'. It was suppose to be used to destroy those wooden planks beside it. But unfortunately, it can't move plus once you get on it, you can't get off which kinda sucks. In the third Ravenholm map... well, there isn't much to say except for the smoke which looks pretty in some way. Left 4 Dead - Ravenholm
Ravenholm ported to Left 4 Dead. Unfortunately, due to copyright by Valve, I cannot release this map as a download. The only way that you'd get to play this is to make it yourself, like I did. Here's a tutorial I wrote on how to do this yourself: left4deadforums.com The map required extensive modification in order to be playable in Left 4 Dead. All of the movie scenes were removed (Father Grigori was deleted), all of the mechanical stuff was taken out (like the car traps), all of the original HL2 NPCs were removed, and any path-blocking puzzles were removed, as well, creating a clear, defined path through the level.
