Regarding Iran, please consider the following: 1st: If Iran acquired and used a nuclear weapon, it literally WOULD BE 'wiped off the map' instantly. 2nd: The issue is always framed to make it seem like Iran is 'anti Jew' rather than 'anti Zionist.'
