Remaking Lady Gaga's meat dress! If you want to do the same, follow the "recipe" below! 5- 15 cups water 5- 15 cups salt 5- 15 cups flour (make sure your water, flour, and salt are all equal) Mix your water, salt, and flour together in a pot over medium heat until it looks like it did in the video. Heavily spray a baking pan with cooking spray and make your slabs like I did. Then, put all your baking pans in the oven for 15- 20 minutes in 200 degrees. Let cool. Paint your slabs with an appropriate colour. It should look red/brown/pink. After the paint is dry, paint on fat using white paint and a thin brush. I used white out :p. Let dry. Construct a garbage bag dress that fits you. You could also just use an old dress or tank top and skirt, but be warned! Your clothes will be ruined! After using a garbage bag dress, I would NOT recommend it! It takes a lot of extra glue. But then hot glue your slabs onto your dress. Recreating an unusual weapon I saw in a documentary about prisons. It was two razor blades taped together, with a book of matches in-between as a spacer. The inmates referred to this as a "tomahawk" (might have been the name brand of the razor blades they had?) and said it made wounds that were hard to stitch up. PS - Suggest you watch the entire video before having a fearful reaction. The beat starts at 0:50. This is one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time. Many call it the greatest hip hop song ever produced. I've listened to it countless times. I had to do this one on Korg Electribe ES-1. Pete Rock made this beat with SP1200, which only have only 10 seconds of sampling time, and each banks (there are 4 banks on SP) can only store total of 2.5 seconds worth of samples. (If I get SP-1200, recreating this beat would be the first thing I would do!) I think SP-1200's MULTIPITCH and DECAY function are the only functions that very hard to duplicate (near impossible) on ES-1, as far as only sequencing is concerned (Of course I am not talking about SP sound here.) I think I figured out how Pete Rock chopped the sample. I tried to make it sound like the original beat. All works were done on Electribe ES-1. EQed with the Portastudio. Note regarding sequencing on Electribe ES-1 On ES-1, There are only 9 pads, only 7 pads can be played at same time, and maximum of 9 samples can be available per sequence. On Electribe, Program (in MPC's terms) are attached to each sequence, so more than 9 samples can be used in Song mode. This is something that I worked off and on for a couple years (mostly off). It's my attempt at accurately recreating the city of Chicago in Sim City 4. Instead of just dropping some landmarks into a city, I tried to represent the actual city. Of my 3 completed regions (Loop, North and West sides) every single road is accurately mapped, including diagonal roads and one way streets. Every singe railroad including all "L" and subway routes (as well as their stations) are accurate. Park layouts are mapped appropriately to Google satellite imagery. Many Universities and Colleges are mapped (DePaul, UIC, Columbia, Roosevelt). There are Hospitals where there are supposed to be hospitals, row homes where there are supposed to be row homes, skyscrapers where they belong, etc. I just wanted to recreate my city in Sim City 4. This kind of information loss due to changes in technology is called "data rot". The story of how this group at MIT overcame the enormous obstacles and setbacks on the way to triumph is part of of our technological history. Today Virgin Atlantic and Sir Richard Branson are re-creating the inaugural flight from the 22nd June 1984 to celebrate 25 years in the sky. Many of the same high-profile celebrities who travelled on the flight 25 years ago will be back on board today, flying from London Heathrow to Newark, New York. Celebrities such as Ian Botham and Christopher Biggins who were on the 1984 flight will be joined by 2009 personalities including Jessica Taylor and Kevin Peitersen. In addition, Richard Branson will be 'walking the wing' of the plane with a high profile celebrity to be revealed on the morning of the flight itself. Since 1984, 65 million passengers have flown on Virgin Atlantic and despite the cost of living more than doubling over 25 years, Virgin's fares on New York flights have come down. The flights to New York (excl. taxes and charges) were £119 in 1984 and in 2009 the same flight retails at £103. Sir Richard Branson is available to comment on turbulent times for the aviation industry including how Virgin is making a profit in the toughest ever global trading conditions. He will also be discussing how British Airways record loses have prompted the company to ask more than 30000 staff to take unpaid leave or work for free to help the airline to survive. This is a project that I have been working on since late last year. I never got the chance to play Chrono Trigger when I was a child but I managed to play it on an emulator last year. It's an absolutely brilliant game and I can see why some people called it "ahead of its time" when it first came out. Anyway it came out on the Wii store a while back and I immediately bought it because I wanted to experience the journey again. That's when I reached The Kingdom of Zeal and something inside me wanted to experience the world of Zeal in 3D so I decided that my next project would be to recreate it. Many, many months later I finally finished it. I spent a lot of time redesigning it and trying to find a style that suited my abilities and tastes. Eventually my search led to the art style from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker by Nintendo and that's when things started to pick up. I had found my aim and I spent the next few months researching the style, asking friends and strangers for help with recreating certain effects and experimenting with shaders in order to capture the look and feel of Wind Waker. I even watched Dragon Ball: Z again as the building designs are almost identical. I decided near the end that I liked some of the effects that UDK had to offer such as "godrays" and "dynamic shadows" so I enabled them in order to create a kind of HD Wind Waker. I purposely added Depth of Field to recreate the LOD blur that was in the original game. I estimate the accuracy of my <b>...</b>
