Remote desktop is a feature that allows you to gain complete control of your computer from across a network (or the internet). Usually remote desktop requires a program or service to be installed on the system you are connecting to and from. In alot of cases its often impossible have that functionality installed on all computers you use to connect to your own PC, especially if that computer is a Windows Home product. One thing you are able to do ismake sure that functionality is installed on your own computer. Nowawadays most end-users may be unaware of the fact that Windows XP, Vista, and 7 allows you to connect to your home/office computer via your web browser.
