REPRISE is a film about friendship, madness and creativity, about love and sorrow, great ambitions and the often unpleasant clash between youthful presumptions and reality. Erik and Phillip are both aspiring novelists, aiming to write the great novel of their generation. Eric's novel is rejected, but Phillip is published to great acclaim. However, Phillip soon suffers a breakdown, triggered in part by his obsessive relationship with his girlfriend, Kari. When Phillip returns from six months in hospital he tries to win back Kari, whilst Erik is still writing, with increased success. The film follows Phillip, Eric and their friends using an exciting filmic language that reflects the narrative culture typical of a gang of twenty-three old boys. A film that is as full of contrasts in its form as the lives of the characters in it, Reprise can be seen as a subtle reflection on youth as a time of promise, plans and hopes which gradually dissolve under the impact of life experiences.

"Sweet Thing" is a song written by David Bowie for the album Diamond Dogs in 1974. The song is split in two with "Candidate" in the middle. A track now referred to as "Zion" has also appeared on bootlegs under the titles "Aladdin Vein", "Love Aladdin Vein", "A Lad in Vein",and "A Lad in Vain".Incorporating parts reminiscent of "Aladdin Sane" and what would become "Sweet Thing (Reprise)" on Diamond Dogs, this instrumental piece was generally thought to have been recorded during the Aladdin Sane sessions at Trident Studios early in 1973. However a recent estimate places it alongside recordings for Pin Ups later that year, as a preview of Bowie's next original work, leading author Nicholas Pegg to suggest that it "perhaps ought to be regarded more as a Diamond Dogs demo than an Aladdin Sane out-take".A 1973 article about Bowie recording PinUps in France accurately describes the song, which seems to confirm Pegg's theory: David asks engineer Andy to run up a quick mix of the next project. Spirited Away (千と千尋の神隠し) is a film by the Japanese anime studio Studio Ghibli, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The guitar is in standard tuning. This one was a little tricky to play (with the 2 key changes and such) Guitar use is a Takamine classical EG522C mic'd with a Audio Technica AT 2021 condenser mic. I hope you enjoy this arrangement.
