The city of Oakland, California, is reeling after one of the biggest protests the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement has seen. About 80 demonstrators were arrested and several injured after what started as a peaceful rally was met with a heavy-handed police response at the end of the day. Hours before that, thousands of anti-corporate protesters forced a shutdown of America's fifth largest sea port. That's as the general strike - America's first in over half a century - also paralyzed several businesses in Oakland's downtown. Now the situation has become a standoff as villagers have kicked out both local officials and police. That came after the suspicious death of one villager in police custody. Here's the latest. The over twenty-thousand residents of the village of Wukan in south China's Guangdong Province have expelled all local Communist Party authorities, including police, and blocked road access to the village. The British newspaper The Telegraph was able to get a journalist on the ground in Wukan on Tuesday. Malcom Moore called the current incident the first time on record that the Party has "lost all control" in a situation of "open revolt." This marks the latest escalation in an ongoing confrontation between villagers and local Communist Party officials they've called corrupt and abusive. For three months, Wukan residents have been staging occasional large-scale protests against a longstanding series of abuses committed by local Party officials. The villagers' biggest grievance was corrupt officials profiting from illegally selling the villagers' land. The current intensified protest, including the expelling of all police and officials, came after the death in Party custody of Xue Jinbo. In it, a distant galaxy is terrorized by the evil Infinata, a malevolent and supremely powerful entity from another dimension who resembles a one eyed praying mantis, and his minions who are bent on ruling the cosmos. On the planet Gorth in this galaxy, an alien scientist escapes his homeworlds destruction by The Infinata with the Library Of Gorth, the collective knowledge of the entire planet condensed into a small palm sized orb module. This library contains as yet undeveloped secrets to destroy the Infinata. As the scientist escapes, the Infinata gives chase knowing that if an advanced civilization could decipher the Library, it could mean his destruction. The Infinata sends his minions to disable the scientist's ship before he could escape. Having no choice, the scientist changes his coarse to the nearest galaxy, enters our solar system and heads to the one planet with intelligent life--Earth. As the spaceship enters Earth's atmosphere, the friction causes the ship to catch fire and resmble a shooting star. As it flies over New York, Spider-Man spots the shooting star. Intrigued, he tries to get a closer look. Spider-Man soon realizes, however, that this is not a shooting star at all, but a pint-sized spaceship, only about a foot long, which falls straight to him.
