The Revolution Business - World

June 2011 Democratic change has been demanded across the Middle East. But was what seems like a spontaneous revolution actually a strategically planned event, fabricated by 'revolution consultants' long in advance? Revolution consultants are the worst nightmare of every regime. Srdja Popovic was a founder of the organisation 'Otpor', a revolution training school. It was instrumental in the overthrow of Slobodan Milosevic in the 1990s and has now inspired a new generation of activists. Political commentators like William Engdahl are convinced Otpor is being financed by the USA. "The people from Otpor gave us a book in which they described all their strategies", says Ezzedine Zaatour of the Tunisian uprising. That book was written by an American, Gene Sharp, and is now considered the "revolution guide book", being used by opposition movements worldwide. As Optor release their latest gadget, a resistance training computer game sponsored by American organisations, world leaders are voicing their concerns. "This is called a gentle coup!", insists Hugo Chavez.

RAP NEWS 7: #Revolution spreads to America (#OccupyWallSt) - extended version - low volume

Rap News, Episode 7: before there was #OccupyWallStreet there was #OccupyWisconsin. It's 2011 and amid a flurry of political leaks and revelations, revolutions have rolled across North Africa and The Middle East. Join your host Robert Foster for long overdue analysis of these events, asking the question that's on everyone's lips -- where will revolution spark next? But when a news flash comes in from a special embedded correspondent, the episode takes an unprecedented turn, as that very question is answered in dramatic fashion. How will the world treat the latest courageous country to throw off the yoke of oppression? Is any cow sacred in this time of massive upheaval? Lecture 1 | New Revolutions in Particle Physics: Standard Model

(January 11, 2010) Leonard Susskind, discusses the origin of covalent bonds, Coulomb's Law, and the names and properties of particles. This course is a continuation of the Fall quarter on particle physics. The material will focus on the Standard Model of particle physics, especially quantum chromodynamics (the theory of quarks) and the electroweak theory based on the existence of the Higgs boson. We will also explore the inadequacies of the Standard Model and why theorists are led to go beyond it. This course was originally presented in Stanford's Continuing Studies program. Ron Paul: A 2012 Revolution

In 2008, Ron Paul's presidential campaign sent shock waves through the political establishment and sparked a revolution of ideas. Dr. Paul just came in a close second place in the Iowa Straw Poll and his campaign is surging. Revolutions do not occur overnight, but having Ron Paul back on the national stage will continue to spread his message of freedom, limited government and an end to the Federal Reserve system. Ron Paul is officially a frontrunner for the Republican nomination in 2012. However, the media is ignoring this and supporting establishment neo-cons like Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry. Make your voice heard and support Dr. Paul in 2012. Thank You Revolutions of 1820-1848 : Napoleon's Children ------------------------- After Napoleon's death, the great powers of Europe united at the Congress of Vienna to restablish the monarchic powers and territories prior to 1789. One thing they couldn't reestablish was one of Napoleon's prime works: The Napoleonic Code. This constituion promoted democratic views towards politics, a liberal economy favorable to the industrial capitalists and flexible laws. From 1820 to 1848, many revolutions ocurred, as a reflection of the new Industrial Scenario over the world. Social workers fought for better conditions at industrialized countries and at the Old Empires people fought for political autonomy and democratic representation, also nationalist movements at countries subjugated by the absolute crowns, such as Greece, Hungary, Romania and others fought for political autonomy.
