Super Mario Galaxy - Rosalina's Story
(As it seems, I already did the Cosmic Mario Forest Race. Sorry, Rinsting.) As you play through Super Mario Galaxy, you can visit the Library section of the Comet Observatory. There, you can read the backstory of Princess Rosalina--who she is, where she came from, and how she got to live with the Lumas on the Comet Observatory. It plays out very much like a picture book. It looks like one, and it reads a lot like one. Some people say that it's pretty depressing, uncharacteristically so for a Mario game. I could definitely see where that's coming from, but I suspect Nintendo wanted to tell people to look ahead instead of being stuck in the past. Rosalina never gets to be with her family again, but she acquires a new family. I THINK that's the idea. (Don't ask how she found all these supplied needed for a house or why there's a huge pile of books encased in the comet's ice to make a fully stocked library. I don't know.) This is my Natalina Series called "Always" and starts off kind of on a bad note. Well the video will sort of represent what's going on in the story, so if you don't want to see the story, then just watch the video! But anyway this is episode one of "Always" Rosalina ran through horrible rain puddles as she tried to get to school. Her dad was working early so he couldn't take her. She sighed out of relief to see Amigos High school not far off. She burst through the door, and rung her hair out. "Man what a storm." She heard laughter and knew that sneaky, evil laugh... Patrice. Rosalina turned to see Patrice. "Yes Patrice I had to walk to school." Patrice smiled. "Why can't your boyfriend drive you? Oh that's right, you're dating a freshmen." Rosalina didn't find Patrice's crude humor funny nor amusing. Unfortunately, she was intimidated by it. "Whatever I really have to get to class!" she stumbled to her locker, but almost slipped on a water puddle from all the wet shoes and fell. " —Rosalina, Super Mario Galaxy BackGround Information - Rosalina is a character who makes her debut appearance in the game Super Mario Galaxy. Rosalina first appears in the Gateway Galaxy, and she is also the adopted mother of the Luma. Rosalina commands the Comet Observatory. She is a very powerful figure, as her duty is to watch over and protect the cosmos as well as the Luma. Rosalina's back-story is chronicled in her storybook told by her in the Comet Observatory's Library in Super Mario Galaxy. Nine chapters are unlocked throughout the game, and the last is unlocked by completing the game. During the story, Rosalina mentions her home planet as "a blue planet"; Earth is also known by this name, so it is possible Rosalina comes from Earth. Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Rosalina appears during the ending sequence of Super Mario Galaxy 2. Lubba reveals at this time that he and Rosalina had met before, but the details of their meeting remain unknown. Rosalina also frequently sends letters to the Baby Luma that's with Mario, but she does not reveal her identity in them.
