Moscow Art Trio - Introduction and Kalina

A Polish television recording of the concert at the Kalisz Piano Festival shows the trios brilliance and humour, impressively accentuated by the facial expressions and body language of the three musicians. In addition to the eighty-minute concert, the DVD presents a lengthy interview with the ensemble recorded in Moscow in the early summer of 2006. First Live-DVD from Moscow Art Trio 10 years became the call loudly to publish a live DVD of Moscow Art Trio. Because the music is fantastic, the visual aspect absolutely signifies an extension of the hearing experience. The subtle and emphasised humor of the trio comes with the DVD only properly to carry and makes clear that they count to the most thrilling formations of the new jazz. The concert of the Polish Kalisz festival contains the classics of the Moscow Art Trio who were played in among other things on the legendary CD HAMBURG CONCERT. The concert is complemented with a 18-minute test recording and an interview of the musicians.

Siberian Russian Folk Chorus sings Age-Old Pines Above the Shusha

Here is a favourite of mine, a miracle by this chorus (Art director: Vladimir Chirkov), a "crescendo" regarding intensity from the first to the last note. I always remain very impressed by this, till the last chord ff leave me without breath.

Korobushka, Korobeyniki, Tetris - Accordion, russian folk (superlong version)

melancholic and quick mix - superlong - unshortened, uncut recording. Der Straßenverkäufer (the peddler).

Song of Stenka Razin. Russian folk song.

Краткая история о Стеньке Разине и персиянке здесь: www.sovsekretno.ru The folk song of Stenka Razin is very popular in Russia. Boris Shtokolov performes it with great feeling & expressiveness. Folk songs incarnate the voice, history & soul of the people whove created them, glorifying human feelings & aspirations. Folk songs arising from the necessity of man to give vent to his intermost feelings pertine to the most lively, versafile & emotional form of popular art. Whose heart can remain cold to the sounds of a slow Russian song with its stern grandeur & broadness of melody? These characteristics are true of "Song of Stepan Razin". In this video you can also see the pictures of Volga-river, which I've taken for this song in I-net & pieces from the film "Sadko".
