The Dacia Duster is the first crossover SUV developed by the Romanian automaker Automobile Dacia. Officially revealed on 8 December 2009, it became available in Europe from 18 March 2010. The Range Rover Evoque is a relatively compact luxury vehicle scheduled for production in 2011 from Land Rover. The interior of the Range Rover received a minor facelift, consisting mainly of redesigned and repositioned switchgear which saw the last BMW-sourced items removed. The fourth generation Discovery 4 was launched in 2009, and went on sale in the United Kingdom on 1 September. She is the property of the French private company Abeilles International, and had been operated by the French Navy since December 1979. She had previously been based in Brest, where she assisted traffic off the coast of Bretagne. The Abeille Flandre could set out with a 20-minute warning, or whenever winds in excess of 25 knots (46 km/h) were recorded in Ouessant. She was replaced at this station in April 2005 by the more powerful, 80-metre Abeille Bourbon. The Abeille Flandre is now based in Toulon on the Mediterranean. French rescue tugs on government contracts operate under orders of the préfet maritime. If the salvage is successful, the French state earns half the value of the salvaged cargo. When the vessels are not required for government service, operators of can request of the préfet that they be released to perform private salvage and rescue missions. Rates for private salvages are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Fees are never charged to rescue people. The Land Rover Freelander is a compact crossover SUV or "lifestyle 4WD" made by the British company Land Rover; a subsidiary of Tata Motors. New Aston Martin V12 Vantage road test The Aston Martin Vantage has broken cover with a 12 cylinder model featuring some new exterior design and performance technology that should bring the aging Vantage back into relevance. The 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage, as the new British sports car is aptly called, gets a big bump in power and a new stability control system to help put it to the road. Shaking the "grand tourer" moniker often applied to larger, more unweildy Aston Martin models, the V12 Vantage is pure sports car through and through. A 6 speed conventional manual is mounted behind the driver for better weight distribution and drives the rear wheels. The V12 powerplant is the same excellent unit found in the current DBS, producing 510 horses and 420 lb-ft. of torque, good for 4.1 seconds through 60 mph and a top speed of 190 mph, Aston says. On the outside, the 2010 V12 Vantage gets a host of minor styling changes to differentiate itself from "lesser" V8 Vantage models, most noticable of which is the louvered hood. Carbon fiber front and rear air dams, as well as low and lean skirts from Aston Martin Racing round out the package. 2010 V12 Vantage pricing is not yet announced, we'll have to wait for Geneva for that. For the 2010 Model Year refresh, the Range Rover gets an updated exterior grille, bumpers, and LED head/tail lights, two new engines, and new features. It was unveiled at the 2009 New York Auto Show. The interior of the Range Rover received a minor facelift, consisting mainly of redesigned and repositioned switchgear which saw the last BMW-sourced items removed.
