Uninstall McAfee and Norton Internet Security Antivirus on Windows 7 | Faster 7 Part 2

This video is brought to you by: www.pcmichiana.com As we progress through the Faster 7 series it is important to know that each step is absolutely essential in getting your Windows 7 Operating System in top shape. This step is one of those steps many people feel they can pass up, but they shouldn't. Firstly, most people do not realize that the free antivirus software in the market is often just as good, if not better, than the paid for versions of antivirus software. Secondly, those free versions often use up less resources on their computer, causing it to run faster than it was before. In this video we discuss uninstalling the McAfee and Norton Internet Security suites. Uninstall McAfee or Norton Internet Security Antivirus on Windows 7 1. Click the 'Start Button' 2. Select 'Control Panel' 3. At the bottom of the window, in the 'Programs' category, select 'Uninstall a Program' 4. Wait for the list to be populated. 5. Navigate through the menu looking for "Symantec" or "Norton" for Norton Products and "McAfee" for McAfee Products 6. Select the item you need to uninstall 7. Click the 'uninstall' button at the top of the window. 8. Follow the steps, ensuring you uninstall all of the components of the software. That's it! It's not too difficult to uninstall programs from your computer, but McAfee and Norton tend to be a bit more expensive than the ones that are "free". In the next video we will be working with Avast! Antivirus, so stay tuned!

After West Deceived UN Security Council over Libya, Russia and China Veto Action Against Syria

After 7 month of vicious onslaught against Libya bloodthirsty NATO demands destruction of so far independent Syria: France - UK - US (FUKUS) have launched the most sickening assault against common decency, morals, international law and human goodwill since Hitler's goose-stepping Nazis sent millions to the concentration camps. Here is the first series of questions placed to the three ringleaders of this most shocking terrorist outrage. 1. What is your reaction to the fact that the forces under your commend murdered the three grandchildren of Colonel Gaddafi? Why haven't you even issued an apology? Would you like the same thing to happen to your families? And if it did, should we "apologize" or mumble the word "regret"? 2. What is your reaction to NATO's murderous terrorist strikes against civilians? You will be aware of the scope of your carnage in Libya which makes 9/11 look like a picnic for fairy godmothers. How do you feel about holding joint responsibility for the murder of tens of thousands of people (up to 63000 to date)? You couldn't care less, could you? 3. If it is NATO's mandate to protect civilians, then why did you strafe their water supply? Are you aware that this is a war crime? Be honest, it was "to break their backs", wasn't it? 4. Why did the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office support a group listed in its terrorist list - LIFG, in direct violation of the UK's Terrorism Act? Set Power Settings to High Performance Mode on Windows 7 | Faster 7 Part 13

This video is brought to you by: www.pcmichiana.com As we move along in the Faster 7 series and work on speeding up your operating system, you will find that not all tips apply to you. Do not fret, I have a whole catalog of speedup tips. In the instance that a tip does not apply to you, just make a mental note (for the future) and move on to the next Windows 7 speed tip. Windows 7 Performance Mode is built into the power management portion of the operating system. For many users who have laptops this feature comes set as "balanced" right after they have installed their operating systems. Modifying the power settings to 'Performance Mode' will ensure your operating system will run top notch whether or not you have your computer plugged into an outlet. Many people think this setting just impacts their "sleep mode" and "hibernation" settings. In reality, power management for operating systems has become far more sophisticated and even cause modification in processor speeds and visual effects. Personally, I do not use my laptop without it plugged into a wall, so this is definitely a feature I want to make sure is enabled. Set Power Settings to High Performance Mode on Windows 7 1. Select the Windows 7 'Start Button' 2. Choose 'Control Panel' 3. Select the 'System and Security' item 4. Halfway down, select 'Power Options' 5. Under 'Plans Shown on Battery Meter', select 'High performance' 6. If it does not exist under 'Plans Shown on Battery Meter', click the expansion arrow <b>...</b>

Iran and The West (1/3): The Man Who Changed The World - BBC (Feb 7, 2009)

www.bbc.co.uk ** Documentary series marking the 30th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution. Militant Islam enjoyed its first modern triumph with the arrival in power of Ayatollah Khomeini in Iran in 1979. In this series of three programmes, key figures tell the inside story. Former US president Jimmy Carter talks on television for the first time about the episode that, more than any other, led American voters to eject him from the presidency. Iran's seizure of the US embassy in Tehran and the holding of its staff for 444 days took more and more of Carter's time and energy. His final days in office were dominated by desperate attempts to secure the release of the embassy hostages. Those who sat in the White House with him, planning how to rescue the hostages, how to negotiate their release and, finally, wondering whether anything could be rescued from the disaster, all tell their part in the story. Other contributors include former vice president Walter Mondale, ex-deputy secretary of state Warren Christopher and former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski. The other side of the story is told by top Iranians: Ayatollah Khomeini's close adviser, Grand Ayatollah Montazeri; his first foreign minister, Ebrahim Yazdi; his negotiator with the US, Sadeq Tabatabai; and the founder of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, Mohsen Rafiqdoust. aired: BBC Two 090207, 090212 (england only), 090213 (except England), BBC One 090214, BBC Four 090704

S&W Model 642CT Centennial revolver: Lightweight Security

I like the autos for many reasons but the revolver still has much to offer the police officer or armed citizen: proven reliability, simplicity, and ease of use. For those unfamiliar with guns and some women, a quality revolver is generally an ideal gun. Here I do a "combat" review of a Smith and Wesson Model "Centennial" 642CT lightweight revolver in .38 Special +P chambering. It's an outstanding choice for concealed carry, backup gun, or in-house security. It's amazingly feathery at only 15.5 oz and as such beats many semi-auto handguns in that department. Other upsides include a full stainless steel barrel (no composite or liner construction here), beautiful matte finished, tough aluminum frame, superb quality throughout, tight lockup, wonderful trigger, excellent grips, and the typically fast S&W cylinder latch. This 642 model also feature very comfortable and very useful Crimson Trace laser grips which add a measure of proven deterrence against bad guys (better to never have to fire a shot I say). Downsides might include very limited firepower at 5 rounds, high cost ($550-ish!), bulkier width for concealment, bad sights (they are horrible), need for bulky speed loaders, and inability to fire single action in this Centennial version. In lightweight revolvers, I prefer the shrouded but accessible hammer on the S&W "Bodyguard" 638 Model, just in case you have to make a longer range accurate shot. But this of course is no target gun...intended for self-defense within <b>...</b>

The Lazy Programmer's Guide to Secure Computing

Google Tech Talk March 11, 2010 ABSTRACT Presented by Marc Stiegler. This presentation starts with a simple block of code written by the Lazy Programmer, to observe how laziness made the code more compact and simpler. We then define the Principle of Least Authority(POLA), and explain why it is a best practice for secure programming. We show how laziness in that first example enabled enforcement of POLA. We then put the Lazy Programmer through a series of increasingly more difficult tasks as management attempts to make the Lazy Programmer work hard. To achieve maximum laziness, the Lazy Programmer is driven toward increasingly more modular, encapsulating OO designs that happen to implement POLA; ultimately compelled to build systems with defense in depth to avoid work. A secret truth is thus revealed: lazy OO programmers have been using secure techniques for decades, if only they had known. We then describe the tools that turn laziness into correctly enforced security for JavaScript, Java, and distributed computing. Marc Stiegler is a researcher at Hewlett-Packard Labs who has written "Introduction to Capability Based Security," and designed CapDesk and Polaris, a windows overlay that isolates applications from one another to allow virus safe computing.

The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time - Speedrun (2/7)

Part 3: www.youtube.com - The Game - Next in the pre-rendered adventure Journeyman series of games is this, the Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time, created by Presto Studios and published again by Sanctuary Woods in 1995. BiT builds on the successful elements of the original Journeyman, while correcting many of its short-comings. The graphics and music have been improved fairly dramatically. You now you have the ability to look up and down, and additionally, movement between nodes is now fully animated. - The Video - Not a perfect-score run, I was mostly going for speed this time. I should note that the reason I don't use Arthur very much is because since this is a speedrun, I don't want to have to wait for him to finish talking before moving between nodes. Often when you move between nodes while he's still talking it cuts him off. - The Story - BiT takes place in the year 2318 six months after the events of the first game, and has you again playing Gage Blackwood as Agent 5 of the Temporal Security Agency. You are visited by yourself from ten years in the future, to learn that someone has framed the future Gage for tampering with historical artifacts. Now it's up to the past Gage to visit the past and find evidence to clear the future Gage's name. Meanwhile, the Symbiotry of Peaceful Beings is deliberating on Earth's monopoly on time travel technology and this latest trial threatens to <b>...</b>
