In Memoriam - Remembering September 11, 2001 (Updated 1080p HD with New Footage)
For the ten year anniversary of 911, I have created an updated version of my earlier 9/11 memorial and timeline video. This one has some new footage (particularly of the towers falling) and is in 1080p HD. Some of the scenes are graphic and disturbing, but it ends with a sense of hope for the future. The video is set to an original score by Andrew Morgan Smith and is narrated by Mary Alice Gunther. It was produced and directed by Patrick C. Clinton and is a Roaming Armadillo Production.

On Sept. 11, 2001, NASA astronaut, Frank Culbertson, was the lone American not on the planet. Culbertson and two Russian cosmonauts were orbiting the Earth aboard the International Space Station as members of the Expedition 3 crew. On September 11, 2001, the United States of America was deliberately attacked by a terrorist group known as Al-Qaeda. Four planes, departing from Boston, Washington DC and Newark. Two were flown into the Twin Towers in NYC, one flew into the pentagon, and another which was supposedly bound for the White House flew into the ground in Pennsylvania after passengers attempted to regain control of the aircraft. September 11, 2001 was without a doubt the worse attack ever on American soil. Part 17 of 22. .... Parts 17 through 22 in this series come from my own homemade VHS videotapes. I began recording at 9:54 AM Central Time (10:54 AM EDT) on September 11, 2001. These last six parts in this series run for a total of 12+ hours (about 2 hours per part) and consist of footage from a wide variety of local and network TV sources. I was using the remote control a lot that day to switch back and forth between the different networks. Thus, the footage seen in these videos is in a rather "rough cut" form, appearing exactly the way I recorded the news coverage, as it was happening, on 9/11. ALL 22 PARTS: www.youtube.com

At the time I received this video it was not released publicly. It's the personal video of someone i met. After the first plane hit one of the towers, this cameraman set up his home video camera on a balcony 1 block from the world trade centers and left the room to let it record unknowing a 2nd plane would hit and he would catch it on tape.
