On September 11th, 2001 I was driving in my car to work and listening to the radio. They played a song by the group Live called 'Overcome' from their album that was going to be coming out in a week. They cut into that song to announce that the World Trade center had been hit. Because of that, I associated that song with that day. A few years ago while cleaning out a closet. I came across all the 9/11 video tapes that my wife had made by continuously recording the news during the September 11th disaster and I decided to compile the footage to the Live song. Deticated to the fallen civilians, heroes, and angels of September 11th, 2001. Ten years ago today (the day of upload), The United States was attacked by an elite terrorist group. They flew two passenger planes into the Twin Towers (one into each), one passenger plane into the Pentagon, and one passenger plane expected to crash into the Capital Building, until the passengers overtook the hi-jackers, crashing the plane into a field in Shanksville, PA. I created this slideshow in tribute to the first responders, civilians, and military personel that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It is also dedicated to the families of all those effected by the terrorist attacks, including military families in the past and present. Specifically, this will be shown before the Sept. 10th Spindletop Roller Girls bout in Beaumont, TX for us to reflect and remember the events on and since 9/11.
