There is, however, one new face in the crowd, Saeko, a young and beautiful woman who seems hell-bent on thrill seeking. Together, Muraki introduces her to increasingly high-stake scenarios until they both soon find themselves on the brink of self-destruction. Based on the novel by Ishihara Shintaro, this film will have significant influence over the subsequent formation of the yakuza genre. Review Much has been written on the evolution in cinematic depiction of yakuza over the decades, from highly romanticized characters exhibiting traditional bushido to depraved punks unable to break free from a cycle of violence and abuse. In the early 1960's, when the rest of the Japanese cinematic world was still cranking out romanticized yakuza films, director Shinoda Masahiro (篠田正浩) released Pale Flower, a film way ahead of its time and causing no slight scandal upon its debut. Due to its "anarchistic" content, it initially failed to pass the government censors, resulting in a nine-month delay in its release to the public. Unlike the other directors of the so-called "New Wave" movement of the early 1960's, who all shared a background in graphical arts, Shinoda was the only director whose primary interest and background was in the theater and theatrical history. Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington (Track 9 here: en.wikipedia.org released in 2004, and used this sample and rapped over it. Hydroponikz did this in 2005. In the track you can hear Hydroponikz rapping, Chester Bennington singing, and Mike Shinoda saying "breathe breathe breathe" during the bridge at 3:20. In the original track from HBMS, Mike's rap "Spell It Out" is also featured. This song is NOT part of Fort Minor, Gray Daze, Dead By Sunrise or released on any Linkin Park album. Hope this clears away some misunderstandings. ***btw peeps, i started drawing this before so i didnt have the chance to record it, so that explains why you dont see the skull being drawn drawing an original by Mike Shinoda and Greg "Craola" Simkins. really dope picture, not sure what it is, but has elements of both the artists. this picture was done for school so i had to bust my ass on it at 3 in the morning. also sorry for all requests i havent been able to make. my other hobbies have really gotten in the way with drawing. i do think this is the first time ive drawn anything in the past 5 months so sorry again peeps but oh well, enjoy the video, i think its one of my best drawings
