So yeah, after I got my Shiny Nidoran, I started double hunting on Route 1. At about 3:45 AM, I woke up and I couldn't sleep anymore, so I decided to do some encounters and then try to sleep again. At about 4:30 AM, a shiny popped up out of nowhere, I wasn't even expecting something to shine. Waking up my mom, I rushed downstairs to get my camera and started recording xD I don't count my encounters, as I don't see the point in doing so. However, as I did about 620 encounters an hour (double hunting, 11 encounters/minute), and about 15 hours of hunting, I think it appeared after somewhere near 10000 encounters. I am doing a FireRed Shiny Pokemon Badge Quest, quite the mouth-full. But yeah Basically I have to find a Shiny Pokemon in this FireRed game after each and every badge I earn, fully legit of course. Shiny Caterpie was the 1st, now this Shiny Pidgey is my 2nd, you get to see it's capture, the proof it's legit, it's IVs, It evolving into Pidgeotto (forgot how to spell its name many times xD) and Awesome Shiny Pidgeot and me facing the 2nd Gym Leader in the Game, Water Type user "Misty". I can only face the gym leaders with shinies I find during this adventure. Anyway yeah once I get more shinies, the videos will continue to improve, should have a whole team before I get the 8th badge so my rival will have to face an entire shiny team in the Pokemon leagure. But of course I have to find at least 6 more shinies before I can even think of the Pokemon League, so now I need to decide who's next. My next target will be a SR target. Thanks for Watching!

Awesome ^^ This shiny scared the $#!t out of me! I was not expecting it one bit. This is the first random shiny I've found while actually intentionally searching for one. All my other random shinies appeared when I was either playing through the game or not directly searching for a shiny. Anyway, a lot of the French shinyhunters (check my favorites ^^) inspired me to search for a random shiny. They are searching for many random shinies in Kanto and trying to see who can get the most. I did about 1700 encounters in Viridian Forest and then today decided to search the grass below Pewter Town. In less than 300 encounters today I found a shiny Pidgey! The total number of encounters for Viridian Forest Pokemon and the encounters I did today is about 2000 (very rough estimate).

And yes it was. n___________n I always wanted a Shiny Pidgey from Random encounter..and i got it today,the other surprise is that it has a +Sp.Atk nature,i want a Special Based Pidgeot and now i have it..and Shiny. I also started to see that Ev traning is a good way to find and search Shinies,so if you want a Shiny Pokémon and you want to Random Encounter for it,it´sa good shot to Ev train a Pokémon in the same hunt. two killed birds with one shot. Helloooo, I'm back! (And the video quality is still bad....trying to fix this =) ) It's been a while since I've gotten into Shiny hunting, but I'm pretty glad I did ^.^ I started encountering for Shiny Pidgey/Rattata nearly 3 weeks back, but I've never really gotten time to sit down and properly hunt (I did about 50 or so encounters each time). Today, I passed the 4000 encounter mark, and to speed up the process, I borrowed my brother's gameboy + Fire Red. Unfortunately, this Shiny Pidgey showed up on his cartridge (but I'm still claiming it's mine!) Anyway, I don't know how long this spurt of Shiny hunting will last, but I'm planning on trying to get a shiny from every route in Kanto (however long that will take me) - So far I've done Route 1 (Pidgey), Viridian Forest (Caterpie), Celadon City (Porygon) and Cinnabar Island (Aerodactyl). Next up, Route 2 and I'm hoping for a shiny Rattata! ABOUT DANG TIME. Currently my longest hunt (although I doubt it'll be in that place for long), I've been hunting in Route 3 on and off since I got Kakuna LAST APRIL. Chalk that up to laziness, stress of A Levels and other hunts taking their toll on me, but all of that doesn't matter now. Once Cranidos reached 10K, I decided to finish off this long standing hunt of mine and finally move on in my LeafGreen shiny badge quest. It went over the odds AGAIN, but I presevered and I finally got something to claim from it! I was reading a column about a certain plagarist on Youtube and speaking on SHU when this shiny appeared to me in a flash of gold, stunning me with its vivid plumage! My next hunts are in Granite Cave (another hunt I need to complete) as well as Cranidos, both of which have become over the odds. PLEASE READ! So I was playing my Fire Red before school, and I was training my Nidoran Boy. After a trainer battle, I checked to see how much experience he needed to level up. He needed 1 point. So I went to the grass patch under Pewter City, and the first encounter was a shiny Pidgey!!!! My heart stopped as soon as I saw it was gold coming across the screen. I told my friend, and he said just throw PokeBalls at it. I only had 4, so I was praying to Arceus to catch this Pidgey. The first ball I threw, I caught her in!!! I was so excited, I saved at least 10 times. I've decided my friend is good luck, as he told me that he has been around 4 people (not including me) that have caught shinies.
