With a new studio sound, the band has basically sucked all of the rock and the danger out of their tunes; however, they have added a lot of muscle to their sweet side. If their bright attitudes are what made their past efforts so attractive to you, this album won't leave you hanging. It's a decent release, but I've got to admit I've never been a big Matt & Kim fan. The sound has changed, but I can't say it's going in a bad direction--if anything, it's a simpler one, a nicer one, a catchier one.
