You Scream For Ice cream The school bell rang and all of the children ran out accept for me. As I stepped outside I could feel a hot burst of air hit my face. (It felt as though I was walking into an oven as the sun burned me alive.) At the corner of my eye I could see a white van slowly making its way down the street towards us: kids. As it got closer I could hear the outdated jingle get louder and louder. It was the ice cream man. Once he reached to a stop, all of the children ran as fast as they could to be the first ones in line. Its crazy to think how a truck full of ice cream could attract kids so easily and so fast. I started walking towards the huge crowd of kids surrounding the truck. I had to wait for my best friend Riley so I just stood there. And watched. I watched as the children bought their ice cream. And all of a sudden he did it again, like he always does everyday. The ends of his lips curled into a smile, but for some reason it didn't look like he was smiling from happiness. As everyone bought their ice cream, Ben turned towards me. "Hey, do you know where Chris went?" he asked nervously. "Who knows..." I whispered under my breath as I walked away with Riley. As I started walking home, I thought about what Ben had asked me. Where did Chris go? I could have sworn he was the last one to buy his ice cream. He was there! I saw him! Horrifying documentary about bad parenting... I mean, about suppressing natural differences in character.... No wait, I mean, about feminazis who have lost touch with their maternal instincts.... Hold on, no, it's about children misunderstood by parents who are significantly less intelligent than themselves... or is it, in part, about the ignorance which makes for a whole family's surprise when a teenage girl gets amphetamine withdrawal symptoms after cutting her dose of ADHD medication? No. No. Ok I've honestly got it this time. For real: It's a horrifying documentary about personality disorders in Kids and the psychotropic medication of them using drugs whose mechanism of action is often completely unknown and whose long term effects have not been tested, (let alone on children's brains - still in the formative years). For more than twenty-five years, I've been successfully participated in animation music composition(cartoon "Urusei Yatsura", Movie "Tampopo", "Gerry Anderson's FireStorm", etc). These works hardly pursue a whole synchronization of music and pictures, so inevitably, I feel frustrated with the unbalanced two elements. Recent years have been my challenge to seek its solution with brick toys animations(using Lego(R)). Also the music composition to meet the trial has been another project. The number of genuine children's animations seems decreasing compared to the number aiming for OTAKU (freaks) in Japan. The audience of this Dr. Jobs' series aims for five to ten-year old children. In each story, I'd like to create a comedy with this brick character, which you will find his brilliant invention always ending up with a bitter experience. Enjoy it!

Happy Halloween Guys, thanks for watching! This is an audio project that my friend and I did for our Radio Production Class. I adapted a story called "The Haunted House" from Alvin Schwartz' "Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark." It is documented that a man staying at the Crown Hotel in the early 60's was walking back to his guest room and witnessed the door of his room rattling violently.
