Francesco Leali and Federico Maccherone AKA Clockwork. A project born in early 2010 but only officially launched on February 2011 with the release of their debut Ep "It's You Again" on Hot Creations, that unexpectedly gave them the chance to work and perform with some of the most experienced, inspiring and valuable members and events of the Electronic music scene today. There debut has seen them play and produce a dark, funky breed of disco which noticeably got deeper and deeper in mood trying to combine those sounds to a more techno oriented peice of work. Their recent and unreleased work such as: a No.19 EP for Jonny White's prestigious label, Ali Love's Different Morals remix on Southern Fried Records, Dj T's Get Physical remix and their remix for Avatism on Souvenir Records has demonstrated musical versatility and innovation aiming to reach and explore new grounds pushing the boundaries further and further each time. Being a young duo who which just set off there isn't much we can say about them, but we can certainly say that good things are ahead of them and we'll just have to let the music speak for itself...

www.permies.com A lot of gardeners struggle with slugs. Slugs will eat all of a garden, in some areas, if left unchecked. And yet, ducks love to eat slugs! So this is definitely an organic slug control method. I have tried on about four previous occassions to get video of ducks or geese eating slugs, but the video always turned out iffy you couldn't quite see it. Or the ducks/geese go squeemish - so they were so far away you couldn't see them eat the slugs in the video. I kept trying and eventually ended up with this excellent video footage. First we hear from Jen Davis, of Portland, Oregon. This is just a tiny bit that she had to say about controlling slugs. She expresses that she doesn't like to kill slugs without purpose. Having the ducks eat the slugs makes her much more comfortable. She talks about how her chickens weren't all that interested in eating slugs. With her current ducks, they eat so many slugs, that she now breeds slugs to feed to her ducks! Samantha from Woodinville, Washington feeds HUGE slugs to her ducks. We get really good video of the ducks eating the slugs out of her hand. That is a huge woodpecker at the end. Bill Mollison, the inventor of permaculture, is famous for saying something like "you don't have an excess of slugs, you have a duck deficiency." Making some hits on steel at a laser-measured 200 yards with 1 oz. 12 gauge shotgun slugs. I was shooting with an off-the-shelf Mossberg 590. No special choke or anything; ghost-ring open sights. I was just getting into a groove when I ran out of shells, and ended up with a 10" group on the hits; aiming nearly 3 feet above the target. On some of the shots, you can actually see the slug streaking toward the target, due to sunlight conditions at that time.....which is pretty neat. Watch from about the two o'clock position down toward the center of the target, right to left. When I show the slugs at the end of the video, the second slug is from the first shot that hit the bottom of the target stand.
