Unfortunately could not film the feeding from start to finish as the camera phone seems to stop filming after a certain amount of time- this video is actually two separate feeding videos mixed together (this is why you can see that he grabs the first mouse by the head and releases the second mouse after having grabbed it by the tail).

Californian King Snake - Feeding Time
This is my 7 Year old desert phase Cal King eating an Adult mouse (this mouse was frozen-thawed; i do not feed live mice to any of my snakes in order to avoid injury to the snake, and to avoid the mouse having to suffer). This Cal King is an adult male that's around 4.3 to 4.5 feet long. He's very friendly and has always been one of my favorite snakes, as he was my very first snake.

Snake Feeding Video 2-22-2010
This was feeding night here. Everyone, but Carmela, one of my Female Bloods ate. All were fed Frozen Thawed. In this video I feed frozen thawed rats and a rabbit to 3 Blood Pythons, 2 Peruvian Redtails, and Kah my Reticulated Python. I also fed my Ball Python, and Dumerils Boa that night, but they are very shy when they eat so I didn't record them. Sorry about no music, I just really couldn't figure out what song to put with this video sorry.

My 5 month old amelanistic corn snake (Leeroy Jenkins) is growing up from pinkies to fuzzies now. This is his 2nd video, first one eating live large pinkies/small fuzzies. We fed him 2 live mice. 2nd feeding is at (3:40) mark. This video also features slow motion strike footage. Sorry for the shaky cam... still getting used to filming with manual focus DSLR.

WARNING: if you are offended by this type of video then DO NOT watch, you know what you're getting into when the title says 'snake feeding'. This is our 5 year old male corn snake (snow) getting his weekly mouse. If you turn up the sound you can hear (and see) him rattling his tail, this is a corn snake with a big ego. We named him Grimmjow after my favorite character from Bleach.

How we care for our Corn Snake: Here is our Corn Snake feeding on a pinkie. He is about 7 months old and currently eats two pinkies every 4-7 days depending on how lively he is. We only feed him when he is actively searching for food as overfeeding can be detrimenal to the health of snakes. It won't be long before we progress to larger food (fuzzies) and he will eventually be eating one full grown mouse every week. When he is being fed we remove him from his vivarium and place him in a separate container so he doesn't associate our scent and handling with his food - hence the tweezers. We buy his food frozen from a local pet supplier and defrost it for a few minutes in a cup of warm (not hot) water before feeding it to him. He has fresh bottled water daily (not 'tap' due to the chemicals) and his bedding (hemp) is spot changed when necessary. He only has to have a complete clean out every few weeks - and he doesn't smell at all. At the moment he is 40cm in length and will hopefully grow to about 4-5ft but he will remain a slender snake. He is currently housed in a glass vivarium measuring 60cm length x 45cm width x 45cm height which is ample space for him now but we will have to upgrade to something a little larger when he is fully grown. He has many caves and climbing branches to add interest and from time to time we rearrange these, as well as adding/removing decor, to aid stimulation. Corn Snakes prefer dry environments but they do benefit from a 'Moss Cave' in which <b>...</b>

This is my male Hypo Corn Snake at feeding time. As you can see, he really likes to make sure its dead. I know the feeding was kind of mess, but I don't usually feed him when there is no glass there, only this time when I was recording. At the beginning of this year, I decided that I wanted to buy a male corn snake to live with my female. Luckily, my dads friend who lives across the road was selling his male with his setup for just 50 pounds. I bought it, we carried him across the street in his viv and introduced him to Bazil. they got on fine and after a few weeks we decided to give them more space. We put the other vivarium on top of our current 4 foot viv and drilled a hole in it so they could go up and down into the viv's.

Snow corn snake feeding on pinkies (It was her very first meal... as u can see it's a young snake and it doesn't quite masters the art to kill -without a bit of suffering- but well that's how nature works) BTW for all those bitching about how cruel this is I tell u guys it's how nature works... we eat cows and chicken they feed on mice! besides that I would obviously prefer to give a dead pinky but I cannot find them already dead here so by no means I would kill with my hands a mouse... so I just let nature do her job
