I had my fun and I moved on to new games. Prestige mode isn't the answer here. It's skill and the ability to recognize that skill publicly. I only know one player's name, and that's an in-game handle. He's not a pro-gamer, just an asshole. An extremely effective asshole. Back in the day when I used to play Planetside, a critically flawed game but the best MMOFPS that's seen market so far, I played on the game's most populated and most competitive server. The player with the highest kill-count, in any faction for any server, was a guy who's in-game-name was GodJoey. Now, he got this kill count primarily by taking the game's biggest gun, two mini-guns attached to a suit of power armor really, standing in front of spawn-points, and mowing down unarmed unrprepared players as they spawned in. These points were fixed towers, strategic points which could be captured by specific armies. Instead of capturing them for his army, he would just kill folk. This turned out to be pretty effective strategy, causing many people to waste respawns and buying your army time, and became a popular practice after people caught on. Yet, for some reason, he still kept a wide margin on the total-kill lead. He never had to much effort on the big picture of the war from a general's stand point, but he was notorious on a <b>...</b>
