I managed to capture it in pretty awesome quality, but I foolishly captured it in Mpeg-2, and since most video editing software doesn't allow you to edit Mpeg-2 vids, I couldn't trim off the beginning, so my apologies.

Recently, a remake of Sonic CD was released for the PS3, XBOX 360, iOS systems, Android, and PC in celebration of Sonic's 20th birthday and in preparation for Sonic 4: Episode II, which features the return of Metal Sonic as an antagonist. In this unplanned, second bonus episode (seriously, did not know about the Sonic CD remake until a few weeks after finishing it in early August last summer), I show off the new features of said remake, as well as a few other things I felt should be shown off that were here in the original (in a way). Also, it might be the way I rendered this video, or how long I recorded for (total raw footage was about 20 minutes), but the quality gets a bit worse the further the video goes; don't know why that is. (PS: The remake here is the best version of Sonic CD you can find, not to mention the cheapest, so get this version wherever possible if you're planning on playing this game.) Also, here's the criteria for the Extras to be unlocked: - DA Garden: Get a combined total of [about] 37 minutes or less in Time Attack. - Visual Mode: Get a combined total of [about] 25 minutes or less in Time Attack. - Sound Test: Get a combined total of [about] 5 minutes or less in Special Time Attack. - Stage Select: Get a combined total of [about] 4 minutes or less in Special Time Attack.

When it was originally released in 1993, Sonic CD was known for being one of the best games for Sega's fail add on known as the Sega CD. When the originally was released, it followed gameplay identical to the original Sonic games on the Sega genesis but with a new time travel twist that added new life to the series. In each level of the game there would be different gates labeled either Future or Past. When running by a gate depending on which gate you passed and if you could maintain a constant speed, you would travel to the past or future version of the level you were playing on prior to running pass the gate. Each version of the level was unique with a different layout and different enemies, This meant that each level in the game had 3 different versions and depending on which time you were playing the level on you would unlock a good or bad ending at the end of the game. Overall this game is a great application and well worth your $2.
