Intro to my UK Spousal Visa Process-just a quick info gathering prior to me applying online for uk visa. I will be adding more videos once I actually do the online application. Like: photos,event ticket stubs,airline tickets,cards from friends, letters of support from friends,both of our banking information for 3 months prior to the application date, detailed statements of monthly statements,we moved in with his parents, so i included thier passport copies, mortgage statements,sponsors mobile phone contract, letters from both employers,photos of the house and the bedroom and kitchen,and at the end of it all, i put in a copy of EVERYTHING and notarized copies of any identification and government papers (birth certificates etc). I also went to staples and color copied the passports and id's.just so that they would not keep any thing, II did have tabs, dividing sponsor and my information, then photos, then misc evidence such as the cards n tickets etc. have been told by numerous ppl if you dont, they will keep it. Nearly half of all marriages end in divorce and some people have multiple divorces. One of the questions that I am frequently asked is "Can I collect divorced-spousal Social Security benefits without my ex-spousal approval?" The simple answer is yes! Let's see how this could work for you. You are entitled to divorced spousal benefits if: If a wife and her husband have been married for more than 10 years before divorcing, she may qualify for spousal benefits based on her ex-husband's work record as long as she is at least 62 and still unmarried. If they have been divorced for at least two years, the ex- spouse (he needs to be 62 or older) does not need to apply for his benefits in order for her to receive hers. You are divorced and the marriage last at least 10 years. You have not remarried and are age 62 or older. You ex-spouse is at least 62 If you ex-spouse has not applied for social security benefits you must be divorced for 2 years. Your divorced spousal benefits must be greater than your own benefits If you are receiving divorced-spousal benefits and remarry, the benefits stop. However, if you remarry and it divorced spouse #2(marriage less than 10 years) you can go back to collecting off the first ex-spouse. Generally, an ex-wife will have to wait one year to start collecting benefits from her new husband (he must be 62 or older). "Love Shouldn't Hurt" Part I - Spousal Abuse
A child's cries. An elderly person's bruises. A girl's tears. They all share a common tragedy -- Family Violence. Family Violence happens when someone in the family abuses another. Depicting some forms of family violence in Singapore, this video aims to increase awareness of what constitutes family violence and provides information on help channels. It also encourages all who are in such situations to seek help. The video comprises of individual segments on four types of family violence -- spousal violence, dating violence, child abuse and elder abuse. As the video comes to a close, the audience is once again reminded that family violence is not a passive affair that can be simply resolved with an apology. The video can be screened in its entirety or in its individual segments without losing its meaning. Throughout the video, help lines of key agencies are displayed.
