Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Make Me Smile

steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Make Me Smile (Come up and see me) Lyrics: You've done it all, you've broken every code And pulled the rebel to the floor You spoilt the game, no matter what you say For only metal - what a bore! Blue eyes, blue eyes, how come you tell so many lies? Come up and see me, make me smile Or do what you want, run on wild There's nothing left, all gone and run away Maybe you'll tarry for a while It's just a test, a game for us to play Win or lose, it's hard to smile Resist, resist, it's from yourself you have to hide Come up and see me, make me smile Or do what you want, run on wild There ain't no more, you've taken everything From my believe in Mother Earth How can you ignore my faith in everything When I know what Faith is and what it's worth Away, away, and don't say maybe you'll try Come up and see me, make me smile Or do what you want, run on wild Rights go to their owners

STEVE HARLEY & Cockney Rebel - DEATH TRIP - Video Version 2010 - A movie by Falke58.wmv

What Can I Say. This is maybe the best thing someone ever written. Is it Rock. Is it Opera. Is it Classic Music. Is it Choir Music. Can´t say what it is. Its all the things together. Already released in 1973 together with the debut album "The Human Menagerie. The ex. journalist Steven Nice or Steve Harley told the music press before they releasing the album that this should be the best debut album ever. Someone says that he has a big mouth. But even without the spoken mouth, the music talks by itself. Amazing debutalbum including both the songs Death Trip and Sebastian. In november 2008 I did my first video of this song. Closed together with my old site in month of may 2010. 25.000 viewers until it was away. Wasn´t total satisfied with the video so I decided to make a new one. Even the original video will be uploaded again, that´s for shure, someday. This is the new one. Take your time. Enjoy. Take a break. This song is worth many breaks. I Promised. All The best Michael Lindberg/Falke58 for PhilDeeferSite

Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel - Sebastian Lyrics: Radiate simply, the candle is burning so low for me Generate me limply, I can`t seem to place your name, cherie To rearrange all these thoughts in a moment is suicide Come to a strange place, we`ll talk over old times we never spied Somebody called me Sebastian Somebode called me Sebastian Work out a rhyme, toss me the time, lay me .- you`re mine And we all know, oh yeah ! Your persian eyes sparkle, your lips - ruby blue - never speak a sound You, oh so gay, with parisian demands, you can run - around And your view of society screws up my mind like you`ll never know Lead me away, come inside, see my mind in kaleidoscope Somebody called me Sebastian Somebody called me Sebastian Love me sublime, mangle my mind - do it in style so we all know , oh yeah ! You`re not gonna run, baby we`ve only just begun, baby to compromise Slagged in a bowery saloon love`sa story we`ll serialise Pale angel face,green-eye shadow, the glitter is outaside No courtesan could begin to decipher your beam of light Somebody called me Sebastian Somebody called me Sebastian Dance on my heart, laugh swoop and dart, la-di-di-da Now we all know you , yeah !

STEVE HARLEY & Cockney Rebel - This Old Man (New Album) #1(3) - A movie by Falke58 .wmv

Stranger Comes To Town is the title of the brand new album with Steve Harley and his backing band of Cockney Rebel. This is the first part of three, first brilliant new song from an amazing album. "This Old Man" is the title of this song and makes every one of The Rebel fans chocked and proud. Still in his age of 59 wrotes Harley elegant and classic ballads who makes me so happy. Those songs Harley has written like Sebastian, Death Trip, Mr Soft, Riding The Waves, Freedom Prisoner, Tumbling Down etc. are magic. But he stills makes magic things. Like this and you will meet him again in part two and three. Two more fantastic songs. Those kind of things makes me so satisfied and makes me so proud over be an Rebelfan. Meet Steve and the boys here in my first vido of three - THIS OLD MAN. Thank God for Harley........ Best Michael Lindberg/Falke58 for PhilDeeferSite

Steve Harley (born Stephen Malcolm Ronald Nice, 27 February 1951, Deptford, London, England) is an English singer and songwriter, best known for his work with the 1970s rock group Cockney Rebel, with whom he still occasionally tours (albeit with many personnel changes through the years). Harley started out playing in bars and clubs in the early 1970s, mainly at folk venues on open-mike nights. He also busked around London on the Underground and in Portobello Road. While auditioning for folk band Odin in 1971, he met violinist John Crocker, with whom he formed Cockney Rebel in late 1972. Cockney Rebel went on to release The Human Menagerie and The Psychomodo before splitting up in 1974.However, Harley carried on with drummer Stuart Elliot, renaming the band Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, with whom he had more success. From the next album, The Best Years of Our Lives, came the number one and million selling single, "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)" Harley had two more hits during the mid 1970s with "Mr Raffles" and "Here Comes the Sun" which were both Top 20 hits, but he did not have any further major successes, and in the 1980s he all but faded from the public eye, relocating to the United States.[2] He was set to star as the Phantom in the London premiere of The Phantom of the Opera, and recorded the promotional single of the title song, but was surprised to be replaced close to rehearsals by Michael Crawford. His songs "Sebastian", "Tumbling Down", and "Make Me Smile ...
