Subaru is billing its new 2011 WRX STI sedan is "the fastest WRX STI ever." During a recent test at the Nurburgring, the sedan reportedly clocked a 7:55 lap around the famed circuit. Here's a Subaru-produced clip of the behind-the-scenes action.

Subaru has released on-board driving footage during a hot lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack in Germany using a 2011MY Subaru WRX STI 4-door (sedan) test vehicle. Behind the wheel is Finnish rally champ Tommi Mäkinen.
My new 2011 STi Sedan I traded my 2010 MazdaSpeed3 in for. I love it and look forward to modding it. I just recently flashed it to Stage 1 with the Cobb AccessPort I got from Boston Motorsports. They give really good discounts. 877.600.0267 and ask for Daniel. As compared to the MazdaSpeed3, the acceleration was not impressive stock from a roll. My Speed3 felt faster. From a stop it was totally different and felt MUCH faster obviously. The Stage 1 however made a HUGE improvement and I highly recommend it. The handling feels better on the STi along with the shifter. The stock stereo is horrific though and I hate having to use a key again. I'm finally working on some acceleration videos since I just got to 1000 miles. When Cobb released the Stage1+AEM map I will be adding CAI. Eventually I will do a downpipe and stage 2. Installation video for my new Nameless Performance Axleback on my STi. I absolutely love the sound and as many have said, the video doesn't do it justice. Sounds just like stock except louder and more angry. Very quiet at idle and does not drone at all on the highway. I highly recommend it, and I plan on doing the mid-pipe next. Luckily my one year old lent me her tools to do the install. There are only four bolts and four hangers. I actually did the install without jacking up the car because the back of the STi is so high off the ground. You can order the exhaust directly from Nameless. I talked to Jason G. over there and he was very helpful. This exhaust is the quad staggered double-wall and I chose "flush" with the back bumper.

Just arrived at Gemini Motors in Kitchener this morning, the all new STi Sedan in Plasma Blue.
Few engine samples with Invidia Q300 cat back, stock downpipe, and Cobb intake. It sounds awesome although it could be just a little louder. At this volume it is audible in cabin but my wife will would still approve. It's not loud or obnoxious at all, so maybe a little louder would be perfect. After some adjustments, figment is perfect. Looks great and sticks out a little more than stock.
Got my Cobb SF Intake & Cold air box installed this week. Installation was very easy and only took about 45 minutes (with filming) Then flashed the Stage 1 + SF Intake 93 Map with my Accessport. Thanks to Cobb for making a great product. I don't have access to a dyno, but the car definitely feels like it pulls harder up top vs just the regular stage 1 with stock intake. The sound is incredible and I finally feel like my car drives like it should haha. I drove through a pretty heavy rainstorm on the east coast after installation and when I got home I took the cover off the airbox and everything was bone dry, so that is some piece of mind. I would definietely recommend the cold air box they sell, for no other reason then it keeps the MAF sensor and filter under a cover, since normally when I drive in the rain I get some water in the engine bay from the hoodscoop. I guess it's time to start saving up for a downpipe next. Hope you enjoy the video.
