As i had said in previous article, without tools, u can do nothing. So in the desperate time comes out desperate method. So here is my model which I made, it only took you an hour to make it. Quit easy and effective. Although its a little large for my airgun (but its the smallest bottle i can found). Talking about the reason that i use pringles is to straighten the body of my silencer , because the plastic bottle couldnt stand the pressure. If you want to use it in other gun, you need to build a stronger silencer. Stronger body which can stand the pressure is recommanded. You also need to change the sponge into steel wool, as you know sponge couldnt stand high temperature in real gun(likewise the plastic bottle). The unsilenced weapon is a Colt Series 70 with nickel finish. The silenced weapon is a Springfield Armory TRP Operator. It has a threaded barrel from EFK Firedragon; the suppressor is a YHM Cobra .45. The Colt is firing Winchester White Box .45ACP ammunition. The Springfield is firing my personal handload, a 230gr Hornady TMJ over 5.3gr of Winchester 231 and a Winchester primer. The TMJ bullet is used because it has no exposed lead at the base, and thus keeps lead deposits out of the silencer. All current .45 suppressors must be shot with an ablative medium to be reliably hearing-safe; this one is fired with 2cc of plain water.

My favorite flash suppressor for tactical carbines in the Yankee HIll Phantom 5C2 model (YHM-28-5C2, Brownells 100-002-071). It doesn't add any weight over a A2 birdcage FP, it's strong, has scalloped edges for CQB possibilities (love 'em), it doesn't spear brush when hiking, it's cost effective (unlike many others!), and it looks wicked. The 5C2 Model has no slots on the bottom which helps minimize dust kick up when shooting near the ground. Note that it will add a little extra length over an A2 "Birdcage" suppressor. YHM also makes models for .308 chambered guns, AKs, and variations without the aggressive end scallops. But even with its close quarter capabilities the 5C2 would be nothing if it didn't actually suppress the flash. As shown in this night time desert 30 round string, it does just that and does it well. I have used them for years and they have never disappointed. We shot three makes / models of .22lr suppressor; C3 Defense KISS Gemtech Outback II Tactical Innovations Tac-65 These are each quality suppressor, however the Gemtech performed the best (no suprise) the TAC-65 performed just about the same as the Gemtech,but it's just a bit larger. The C3 KISS did keyhole, but this was hardly a scientific test, so we will not give them a bad review. This is a sound suppressor I built on a form 1. The host is a Walter P22. The rifle has a Ciener .22 conversion and the suppressor is an Ops Inc. 12th model. I did the comparison to just compare the two sound-wise. The first five shots are CCI Subsonic and the second five shots are Federal High Velocity. I then repeat this with the rifle. Note how the Federals go supersonic from the rifle. The sonic crack you hear is the bullet flying down the range after leaving the silencer. NOTE: If you are serious about building a legal silencer and plan to invest the time and money then do some web searches for some silencersmithing info. (oh, if you are not a machinist or don't have access to a mill and a lathe then this size of a silencer may not be possible. Also, if you don't want to do it legally, then don't bother)
