Susuki V-Strom Review (Long term update - DL650)
Susuki V-Strom DL650 Updated Review (filmed with Drift Stealth). This is my second full review on the Susuki V-Strom. Please check out my first video to see a more details and so you can more easily follow what I'm talking about. I was thinking after I made this update that its possible to add 'HH' brake pads to the rear to improve their performance. They grip much harsher into the brake disk to stop it faster. However, the compromise to this would be added wear to the brake disks themselves. HH pads are a little more expensive too and may be too sharp of a stop for some. If you're happy with it then dont fix whats not broken. I've been collecting every fuel receipt for the past three months and the average fuel consumption has been 55.5mpg (UK gallons). This improved slightly (1-2mpg) after my last service. +Update+ My last two refills gave me 61 and 63mpg! Susuki DL650 V-Strom Review
I have tried to be as thorough as I can in this review of my 2005 Susuki V Strom DL650. Hopefully I dont sound too negative about this bike because it is very good. Bear in mind I am a bit of a perfectionist so I can let the little things annoy me a little too much sometimes. It handles well, its very comfortable, its got a great sound, lovely torquey engine and will go forever. The brakes could be better, theres relatively bad buffeting from the screen and finish is so so but these are really the only main negatives. I will add more videos later to how I get on with the extras I've added and how I feel with the bike as I learn more from living with it. Ps You'll notice I've gone for the informative approach with this video. I hope to make more in the future where I cut the technicalities and give a more relaxed view on the bike and how I get on with it. Although a freelancer, Minu stated his ambitions towards the end of '05 to gun for the GHC title holder, whom ever that may be. Minu is a hardcore badass, and the number one heel in the world IMO. Young girl makes speech at United Nations pleading for adults to protect the earth and keep her future safe. She speaks very eloquently and seems to touch the hearts of those to whom she speaks. She talks of the conditions of the world such as having to worry about what chemicals she is breathing in from the air (chemtrails), dying off of fish and animals, and holes in the ozone layer. In case you're not aware, the holes in the ozone layer have been caused by HAARP ionizing the atmosphere, not by us driving cars and using light bulbs that aren't full of mercury as are the CFL fluorescents which govt. wants to make mandatory. Shortly after, Chen Zhen goes to the Hongkou Dojo alone to return the "gift" (the sign). He meets with hostility from the Japanese students and they engage in a fight. Chen Zhen defeats all of them, including their Sensei, single-handedly and effortlessly. He uses his master's style of fighting Mizongyi and a Nunchaku as a weapon during the fight. He smashes the glass on the sign and makes the students who taunted him earlier chew up the paper bearing the derogatory words, so as to make them literally "eat their words". Here's a video of my first ever test-mount for the GoPro HD. It's really shaky, I used the Suction Cup mount in a really awkward place, hence why it fell off also haha.
