The Swamp Terrorists are a Swiss electro-industrial music group that was started in the late 1980s by synthesizer programmer STR, (of Band Berne Crematoire, Nacht-Raum, and Strangler of the Swamp fame) and vocalist Ane Hebeisen (aka Ane H), (formerly of Tierstein), who met at a Strangler/Tierstein show. Their music is harsh pounding electro mixed with grinding metal guitar riffs (which are usually sampled from other heavy metal bands), and produces a sound similar to KMFDM and White Zombie.
