The designs on the shirts are not photoshopped. They are real shirts for each frame of animation. The video was exported at 30fps, while the T-shirt animation moves at 6fps (with a few exceptions where it moves faster) So, for each shirt, we took 5 pictures, so the animation of us (Rhett&Link) moves at 30fps, but the T-shirt animations move a bit slower. There are a few places where the motion seems so smooth that it looks like video. What's funny is that it was Jay who helped T.Shirt and Derek Pike come together, even going as far as making sure Derek stay true to his promise to do a video for the upcoming NYC rapper. One night about a year ago, Derek held a contest on Twitter, the person to help him get over 6000 followers (he was at 5900 at the time) by the midnight deadline would get a free music video, the only catch was Derek got to pick the song and come up with the video's concept. "It was a risk, essentially anyone could have won, luckily it happened to be a talented artist." says Pike. "Twitter has helped me out so much with my own career, its only right I help out someone else through this same medium. Look out for another contest coming soon." Cut up the Back of your T-Shirt - Simple DIY Tutorial
Simple tutorial for an easy way to cut up your t-shirts. Reconstruct old, boring t-shirts by cutting strips into a "V" shape on the back of your t-shirt. Just learn the basic weave, it's so easy! Your own diy style shirt :) Step 1 Cut the neck off - Follow the original seam so your cut will be even. Cut 1in wider than the original neckline for a roundneck. Cut 1.5-2in wider than original neckline for a wide, boatneck or off the shoulder neckline. Step 2 Fold the back of the shirt in half - Match up the shoulder seams so it is even. Step 3 Decide the shape of the "V" that you want. The wider, or deeper the V, the sexier and more revealing the shirt. Use a rule to mark where you'll be cutting. Step 4 Cut thin strips - about a finger width all the way down. Careful not to cut too low or you'll have a hard time tying a knot in step 7. Step 5 Stretch out the fabric to roll edges. Take each strip that you cut and pull it out so it turns into a thin and even strip. Step 6 Weave - take the second strip and put it under and over the first strip. Still holding onto the second strip, take the third strip and place it under and over the second strip. Continue all the way to the bottom. Make sure you didn't miss any strips before doing the next step because you can still undo and redo the weave at this point. Step 7 Knot - when you're holding onto the last loop at the very bottom of the V, take scissors and cut the loop in half. Double knot both of them to the previous loop to hold <b>...</b>

How To Screen Print: T Shirt Heat Transfers At Home #2
WEBSITE: catspitproductionsllc.com Transfer Articles page catspitproductionsllc.com I made this 2 part video some time ago before the Catspit Productions YouTube channel was born. I thought it had a lot of good information in it so I decided to post it. The video quality is poorer than usual and the audio in the second part gets louder when I move to the close up shot of the heat press. I will do another heat transfer video in the future covering a full color laser transfer paper that is a 2-part process. The paper weeds itself of the extra adhesive wherever toner is absent. Trimming is unnecessary. This video covers Avery heat transfers, which are readily available at any office supply or Walmart. Keep in mind there are many different kinds and types of transfer papers. This particular one is designed for home use with an iron. Just make sure your iron is very, very hot and you should use a lot of pressure. Follow the instructions given with your Avery heat transfers as well. I would suggest washing these shirts with extra water for the first time alone, or with a couple others that have just been pressed. This will help dilute any bleeding that may occur in the first wash. However many you want to wash at one time, just use more water than you normally would for a wash that size. Tip: Make sure you're gripping both the top and bottom layers of the shirt. Step 3: Cross your hands While pinching the two points, cross your right hand over your left hand, bringing the shoulder to the shirt's bottom hem on the side farthest away from you. Without letting go of the first pinch of material, grab the hem too. Step 4: Lift the shirt Lift the shirt so that it's hanging in front of you. Without letting go of the shirt, uncross your arms and pull the fold taut as you do. Step 5: Drape to finish Place the hanging sleeve on the table, and carefully drape the folded portion over it. I had a hard time figuring it out and when I finally did, I wanted to share how simple it was, but in English!

I'm not an engineer, I am a nerd and do like making odd stuff like this occasionally. I made one of these devices using this vid and posted it up here so a mate of mine in Canada could see it.
