As promised in my first video, How to Cut Up the Back of your T-shirt, here's a step by step tutorial to show you exactly how to weave! It's super simple. I learned this from watching Adam Saaks. Look him up if you don't know him. He's like the god of t-shirt cutting. Part 1 is the basic weave, some people call it the tornado weave. Part 2 I call it the twisting weave because I have no idea what it's called. I saw Adam Saaks doing it, and I assume this is what he was doing, he does it so fast it's hard to tell haha. Simple tutorial for an easy way to cut up your t-shirts. Reconstruct old, boring t-shirts by cutting strips into a "V" shape on the back of your t-shirt. Just learn the basic weave, it's so easy! Your own diy style shirt :) Step 1 Cut the neck off - Follow the original seam so your cut will be even. Cut 1in wider than the original neckline for a roundneck. Cut 1.5-2in wider than original neckline for a wide, boatneck or off the shoulder neckline. Step 2 Fold the back of the shirt in half - Match up the shoulder seams so it is even. Step 3 Decide the shape of the "V" that you want. The wider, or deeper the V, the sexier and more revealing the shirt. Use a rule to mark where you'll be cutting. Step 4 Cut thin strips - about a finger width all the way down. Careful not to cut too low or you'll have a hard time tying a knot in step 7. Step 5 Stretch out the fabric to roll edges. Take each strip that you cut and pull it out so it turns into a thin and even strip. Step 6 Weave - take the second strip and put it under and over the first strip. Still holding onto the second strip, take the third strip and place it under and over the second strip. Continue all the way to the bottom. Make sure you didn't miss any strips before doing the next step because you can still undo and redo the weave at this point. Step 7 Knot - when you're holding onto the last loop at the very bottom of the V, take scissors and cut the loop in half. Double knot both of them to the previous loop to hold <b>...</b>

I thought it had a lot of good information in it so I decided to post it. The video quality is poorer than usual and the audio in the second part gets louder when I move to the close up shot of the heat press. I will do another heat transfer video in the future covering a full color laser transfer paper that is a 2-part process. The paper weeds itself of the extra adhesive wherever toner is absent. Trimming is unnecessary. This video covers Avery heat transfers, which are readily available at any office supply or Walmart. Keep in mind there are many different kinds and types of transfer papers. This particular one is designed for home use with an iron. Just make sure your iron is very, very hot and you should use a lot of pressure. Follow the instructions given with your Avery heat transfers as well. I would suggest washing these shirts with extra water for the first time alone, or with a couple others that have just been pressed. This will help dilute any bleeding that may occur in the first wash. However many you want to wash at one time, just use more water than you normally would for a wash that size. Today, I show you how to make char-cloth (a magic material you will encounter often in fire-making videos) and also show a cool way to start a fire at the same time. Devil's Breath is a term sometimes used by firefighteres to refer to the noxious brew of gases cuased by incomplete combustion of organic material. When people die of smoke inhalation it is usually these gases that are to blame. Carbon dioxide will suffocate you mostly by replacing the available oxygen in the air, it isn't really toxic. But these gases can incapacitate you within seconds. Almost everyone knows the acrid smell of charring material and will recoil or retreat instinctively, or react by coughing, sneezing etc. We are designed or adapted to find the smell very unpleasant. THESE GASES ARE POISONOUS. DON"T TRY THIS WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION. Most people don't realise that "things" don't actually burn. Flammable substances like grass, wood, rubber etc (even petrol / gasoline) don't combust directly. What happens is that the heating of these materials causes a chemical breakdown that results in the release of flammable gases. This is called pyrolysis. Once the temperature of the gas reaches its ignition temperature, it bursts into flame. It is these burning gases that we recognise as fire. But the process of combustion requires oxygen too. In the absence of oxygen, we get charring. Most of us are familiar with charcoal. The process of making it is very simple and can be observed along many rural roads <b>...</b>
