The number of Baku Metro lines will be reached 5, stations -- 76 and length of roads -- 119 km, in the near perspective, said the Chairman of Baku Metro Tagi aAhmedov. According to him, at present, Baku Metro has 2 lines, 23 stations and road near 31.5 km-distance: "According to Development Plan of Baku Metro, the number of lines is planned to reach 5, stations -- 76 and length of the roads -- 119 km by 2030. This will cover Baku and the distance among the stations will not be over 900 m". Speaking about construction of new metro station Ahmedov noted that, Dernegul station had already been launched in 2011: "We'll launch Avtovagzal and Memar Ajami 2 stations by the end of 2013, Hazi Aslanov-2, Kohne Guneshli and Yeni Guneshli stations -- by the end of 2015". He also noted that the security in the Metro would be provided. So that video observers were constructed in the metro.
