Manfred Tamm ist Lehrer. Seine Hobbies waren von jeher die Schauspielerei, die Musik und der britische schwarze Humor. Im Kabarett ließen sich diese drei Neigungen perfekt vereinen und zudem an seine Lebenswirklichkeit koppeln. In seinem beruflichen Leben erfährt er tagtäglich den ganz normalen Wahnsinn: coole Teenies zwischen Laufsteg und Gangsta Rap, stolze Eltern zwischen Anspruch und Überforderung, hektische Pädagogen kurz vor oder nach dem Abdrehen, hilflose Politiker und Behörden zwischen Pisastudie und Haushaltslöchern, und eine breite Öffentlichkeit zwischen Mitleid und Schadenfreude. In seiner relativen Machtlosigkeit kann er diese Zustände nur aufdecken und dem Gelächter preisgeben. Vielleicht ändert sich dann ja doch mal was. Dabei meint Herr Tamm es aber gut und glaubt auch an das Gute im Menschen. Dass er dadurch selbst zur tragischen Gestalt wird, ist typisch heutzutage. Man sollte Mitleid haben, aber man lacht drüber.
