iPhone 4 Vs iPhone 4S - Does 'S' Stand for Speed or Suck?

iPhone 4 Vs iPhone 4S - Does 'S' Stand for Speed or Suck? They look and feel identical, but beauty is only skin deep, right? Naturally, TechnoBuffalo wanted to see how Apple's new iPhone 4S stood up against its year-and-a-half old predecessor. So does the S stand for Speed or Suck? As you probably know by now Apple's new iPhone 4S comes with some much improved internals, including the A5 chip, 8 megapixel camera and bluetooth 4.0 support. But how do these improvements translate to everyday use? In the short time (re: AT&T Activation Nightmare) I've had my hands on the device, I didn't notice a huge difference when opening up Apple's proprietary apps. When I used Safari pages did load up quicker, but again, the difference didn't blow my mind . Likewise with third party apps, although most developers haven't yet had the opportunity to take full advantage of the iPhone 4S internals. However, when it comes to the camera, you will see a difference when snapping photos. When it comes down to it, the iPhone 4S is faster, but the iPhone 4 is no slouch either. If you care about download speeds and you're on AT&T, the HSPA + speed advantage is noticeable, so that is something to keep in mind. If you upgraded to the iPhone 4S, have you noticed a huge speed difference? For those of you who upgraded from a two or three year old iPhone, how do you like the iPhone 4S so far? HTC Sensation XL Hands On

Hands on with the HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio Not to be confused with the Sensation XE, HTC is bringing us another Beats by Dr. Dre-equipped device called the Sensation XL and we were lucky enough to go hands-on at CTIA. Immediately you'll notice that, as a whole, HTC's behemoth is a very attractive device; the aluminum gives it a quality feel and the glossy white finish (with ear beats headphones to match) and large 4.7-inch Super LCD display really make widgets, photos and webpages pop -- one thing to note, however, is that the screen resolution is 480 x 800, but I have to say that it was still very beautiful with great viewing angles. On the inside, while not as exceptional as the Sensation XE, the Sensation XL comes with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with HSPA 14.4 network support and an 8-megapixel camera on back capable of recording 720p HD video. Strangely, because this is a device aimed at audiophiles, the Sensation XL only comes with 16GB of onboard storage that is not expandable. Still, the Sensation XL is something music fans, especially those who have experienced Beats technology, will really enjoy. The bad news is that the Sensation XL will never be available stateside, but don't count out a tweaked version of the phone showing up on our shores sometime in the future. Audiophiles, are you excited about the Sensation XL? For more tech goodness, check us out at: www.technobuffalo.com Follow Us on Twitter www.twitter.com Like Us on Facebook ...

Samsung Droid Charge Unboxing For the latest tech news and reviews, check us out at: www.technobuffalo.com TechnoBuffalo on Facebook: www.facebook.com TechnoBuffalo on Twitter www.twitter.com Finally, the long road of the Droid Charge comes to a close as we have one in hand for an unboxing! It feels like this phone has been haunting us for ages, but in reality we saw it for the first time as CES back in Jan., when it didn't even have a name. Then we got spy shots of it when it was known as the Samsung Stealth, then it became the Droid Charge. It finally got announced for an April 28th release, only to be stopped just short of launch due the the Verizon LTE outage. After that it was just a bunch of rumors of when this phone would finally hit store shelves, and while there some speculation that it would be this Tuesday, a tipster sent us shots from a southern California Best Buy of it already for sale. To say this phone has had a long journey would be an understatement. At long last, however, it's in the TechnoBuffalo offices, and it's time to get to the unboxing! Let us know in the comments what you think of the overall look and if you're interested in picking one up. Here are the basic specs again for your refresher. Fujifilm X10 Review - Top of the Point-and-Shoot Heap

Ever since it was announced back in August, the Fujifilm X10 has been on every photographer's radar. Upon first glance, the camera woos the vintage crowd with architecture that rivals an old Yashika film SLR. On the inside, the X10 is a manual control dynamo with plenty of advanced features to keep the semi-professional crowd happy. The camera has 1080/30p HD video to satiate the digital videographers as well. Fujifilm also went with a brand new 2/3-size EXR CMOS sensor, which I found to be quite a viable competitor when lobbed against those of the X10's fellow contenders. HTC EVO 4G LTE Review - Almost the Best

HTC EVO 4G LTE Review - Almost the Best The EVO 4G in 2010 was a big deal for Sprint. Not only was it the first US phone to offer WiMAX, but the device was also fast, beautiful and stood out as probably the best (at the time) Android smartphone on the market. But Sprint began to lose its way, resulting in a lull of truly flagship-worthy devices (save for the introduction of Apple's iPhone). Now, Sprint is hoping it can recapture some of its acclaim by shining that big ole EVO signal to the sky, saying, "Help us, EVO. Please." Does its new antenna system have the same issues as the iPhone 4? After the "death grip" debacle with the iPhone 4, it's only natural to wonder if it carried over to the iPhone 4S as they share the exact same physical design on the exterior. We knew the internals had been moved around some, but would it be enough to eliminate this annoyance of the last generation of the device? We put it to the test and you can find out in the video above. Did you think the iPhone 4S would have the death grip issue?
