The Seattle Seahawks came in as the first NFL playoff team with a losing record (7-9) but got to host the defending champion New Orleans Saints. With a 4 point lead, Marshawn Lynch broke 8 tackles on an absurd run (doing his best Christian Okoye impression) to give the Seahawks a two possession lead, ultimately sealing the major upset over the Saints. Here is that play, if it would've occurred on Tecmo Super Bowl. Call is by the Seahawks radio crew, because as expected, Tom Hammond's NBC call was atrocious.

The New York Giants held as much as a 21 point lead on the Philadelphia Eagles, until the Eagles fought back to tie the game and presumably, force overtime. With 14 seconds left in the 4th on a 4th down, Giants coach Tom Coughlin instructed punter Matt Dodge to punt it out of bounds to avoid any return threat. Dodge's punt was horrible, allowing the opportunity for DeSean Jackson to make a play, and with the help of a few blocks, Jackson would go 60+ yards on the punt return for the game winning touchdown. It was the first time in NFL history that a game ended on a game winning punt return touchdown. Here is what that play would've looked like had it taken place on Tecmo Super Bowl. Call is by Joe Buck of FOX. (Editors note: This was very likely the hardest Tecmo one I've ever had to do, as punt returns are near impossible without some tricky ratings, and video/audio editing helped too.
