Some of you may know that I am a big fan of the Driver series and this latest edition, released September 2011, has garnered many favorable reviews for its unique gameplay mechanics and overall fun-factor. Sita Sings the Blues
"Sita Sings the Blues" is based on the Hindu epic "The Ramayana". Sita is a goddess separated from her beloved Lord and husband Rama. Nina Paley is an animator whose husband moves to India, then dumps her by email. Three hilarious shadow puppets narrate both ancient tragedy and modern comedy in this beautifully animated interpretation of the Ramayana. Set to the 1920's jazz vocals of torch singer Annette Hanshaw, Sita Sings the Blues earns its tagline as "the Greatest Break-Up Story Ever Told." This week, Pop Pilgrims comes to The AV Club's hometown, Chicago. As proud Chicagoans, we came up with too many locations to fit into three segments, but the city would practically revoke our residency if we didn't mention The Blues Brothers.And rightfully so. More than 30 years after its release, The Blues Brothers still casts a long shadow over Chicago. The city has since become a frequent destination for filmmakers, but that wasn't the case in 1980. A big Hollywood production, especially one based on popular Saturday Night Live characters, generated so much excitement around town that then-mayor Jane Byrne practically gave John Landis and his crew free reign over the Windy City.

Jimi Hendrix - Blues (1994) - [FULL ALBUM]
Blues is a posthumous compilation album by musician Jimi Hendrix, released April 26, 1994, on MCA Records. The album contains eleven blues songs recorded by Hendrix between 1966 and 1970. Out of these eleven, six were previously unreleased. The tracks include seven of Hendrix's compositions along with covers of famous blues songs such as "Born Under a Bad Sign" and "Mannish Boy". Most of the album's material consists of leftover studio tapes that Hendrix might have never intended to release. Compiled by MCA and released in 1994, Blues was met with favorable criticism and multiple chart success, selling over 500000 copies in its first two years of release. On February 6, 2001, Blues was certified platinum in sales by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album was re-released on Experience Hendrix Records in 1998, following the Hendrix family's acquisition of the musician's recordings. The protagonist of Hyderabad Blues is Varun, played by the director, Nagesh Kukunoor. The movie revolves around his visit home after 12 years in the USA and his resulting culture shock.
