In the 3D adaptation directed by Baz Lurhmann, Fisher will play a married woman named Myrtle who is having an affair with Buchanan who was supposed to be played by Ben Affleck before Scheduling conflicts with his directing dutes on Argo made the role an impossibility for the star.
