State Ural Russian Folk Choir I inherited this record from my late grandmother about 25 years ago. I remember listening to this very same record when i was a kid back in the 70's, and that record looked just as battered back then as it does today, so it must be really old. If there's anybody who can tell more about this specific old record, i'd appreciate to hear it! I don't speak or read or even understand any russian language, so please stick to english or german. Mr. Paul Meyer kindly informed me about the contents: Dear Sir, This information which I am taking from a record sleeve is as follows; (the) State Urals Folk Choir was organized in 1943 (leader LL Chistiansen). The choir was comprised of participants of the Ural villages of Izmodyenova and Pokrovskoye. Among them are (were) A. Shirokova, K. Kashtanova, M. Plekhanova, S. Kvashnin, L. Makushina, I. Krutsky, A.Ustuzhyaninova and others. Thank you!
