Not long ago, it was still peaceful in the small Swiss mountain village of Obermutten. This idyllic settlement of a mere eighty residents was known to virtually no one save a few hikers passing through now and then. Now some sixty million people around the world have either read about or heard of Obermutten. Media reports about the village have appeared in over twenty countries. Obermutten even made it into the main news programme in South Korea. It all began with a newly created village Facebook page. The local mayor made a remarkable promise in the first video posted on the page: Just click on "like," and your profile picture will be posted on the Commune's official notice board. In no time at all, the board was completely covered with fans. In order to deal with the flood of inquiries from fans, it was necessary to resort to hang up the profile pictures on barn walls in the village. In the meantime, the community has increased to over 9'000 fans.

In 1979, Bob Hope hosted the first in a series of military-themed TV specials that would celebrate his birthday. Produced by James Lipton ("Live From the Actors Studio") this show would be followed in 1980 by a show from the Air Force Academy; in 1981 we'd go to West Point; and in 1982 to Annapolis. This show was taped aboard the USS Iwo Jima, docked in New York Harbor and would have several memorable guest appearances by the Village People and Sarah Jessica Parker, then 14-years old and starring in "Annie" on Broadway. Siddardha (Vikram) takes birth in a crematorium and her mother dies immediately after his birth. Siddardha is raised by the crematorium's undertaker. After the death of the undertaker, Siddardha becomes orphan. He does not know anybody in the village and he was never been out of crematorium earlier. He visits village in search of food. The village people detest his presence and try to stone him away from the village. Kamala (Sangeeta) - a ganja seller by trade - rescues him and requests a mafia leader Rayudu (Ramaraju) to recruit Siddardha. Siddardha works for Rayudu in his ganja farms. One fine day, police nab Siddardha on the charges of peddling ganja from jungles to village. Satya (Surya) is a village smart trickster who is put in jail for his misdeeds. Siddardha who never socialized with people and never observed the customs of the village had a tough time coping up with the challenges thrown by the new environment. Siddardha and Satya become close to each other in the jail. Satya gets released and then arranges a bail for Siddardha. Satya, Siddardha and Kamala start living together along with their friends. Rayudu asks Siddardha to cremate a dead body and Siddardha does it. The interrogation by police leads the suspicion towards Siddardha. Satya then reveals the details of ganja trade of Rayudu. Rayudu kills Satya in an act of retaliation. The rest of the film is all about how Siddardha takes revenge on Rayudu.
